Meghan & Harry Get An Assist From Oprah To Cop A Spacious Family Home In Uber Lush Montecito

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have left Beverly Hills to live happily ever after in their family home located in the posh Montecito neighborhood. And it’s reported Oprah lent a helping hand to make it happen. Deets inside…

After months of living in Tyler Perry’s Beverly Hills mansion, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have found a place of their own to call home.

According to reports, Meghan and Harry copped their new family home in Montecito, near Santa Barbara, California, for approximately $10 million. Realtors told TMZ the couple went into escrow in July. The deal closed around a week ago.

What fans didn’t know is that the royal couple has reportedly been quietly living in their new home with their son Archie since leaving Beverly Hills in July.

The royal couple now live in the same upscale neighborhood as media mogul Oprah. And it seems Lady O had a hand in helping the couple find a home in the exclusive neighborhood, which also includes neighbors Ellen DeGeneres, Drew Barrymore and more.

Sources told TMZ Lady O helped put Meghan and Harry in contact with Tyler Perry, who allowed them to stay in his L.A. mansion while they got their home affairs in order. The couple moved to L.A. right before the U.S. and Canadian borders were shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The site was told Meghan and Harry purchased a secure, gated estate. It’s said the properties in the small, quiet neighborhood has a lot of land (some up to 50 acres), so Little Archie will have plenty of space to play and run wild. He'll also get to spend more time with Grandma Doria.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their family home in July of this year. They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected for their neighbors, as well as them for a family,” a spokesperson tells Vogue.

This is the couple's first home as private citizens as they continue creating the life they want to live post-royal life. Congrats to the couple!
