We're not sure who thought we needed this, but here we are. OneUnited Bank released their new Visa Debit card in honor of Harriet Tubman and this just ain't it. More inside...

In honor of Black History Month, OneUnited Bank – the nation’s largest Black-owned and FDIC insured bank - decided to release a new Visa Debit card to celebrate. The chose a painting of famed abolitionist Harriet Tubman to go on the new limited-edition Visa Debit cards, but it’s not an image of how we’ve seen her over the years. They had someone paint an image of our fearless leader throwing up the “Wakanda Forever” sign. Y’all!

"Our limited-edition Harriet Tubman Visa Debit Card is a symbol of Black empowerment. Don’t miss out! #GetTheCard today! #HarrietTubman #BlackHistoryMonth #BankBlack,” the bank tweeted.

Def would cop this debit card above.

So yeah, OneUnited Bank - this card is a no for us dog.

In other news....

Maryland unveiled two new bronze statues of abolitionists Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglas - both born on Maryland's Eastern Shore - during a ceremony in the Maryland State House. According to ABC News, the life-sized statues were dedicated during a special joint session of the Maryland General Assembly in the Old House Chamber, the room where slavery was abolished in the state in 1864.

Happy Black History Month!
