The Clark Sisters’ biopic we told you about is on its way! Peep the new trailer, starring Raven Goodwin, Aunjanue Ellis and more inside…

The Clark Sisters have been slaying the gospel game for YEARS. And now, fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at their lives as they climbed their way to the top in the industry. They’re not called the First Ladies of Gospel for nothing.

Singing sisters Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Jacky Clark-Chisholm, and Elbernita "Twinkie" Clark-Terrell will be sharing their struggles and victories they experienced during their journey with the world in a LIFETIME biopic. And several of your faves made it happen.

Three powerhouses will be backing the film as executive producers, including Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, and Missy Elliott. Woot!

"Quantico" star Aunjanue Ellis will star as the sisters' mother, Mattie Moss Clark, while Christina Bell stars as Twinkie, Kierra Sheard as Karen, Sheléa Frazier as Dorinda, Raven Goodwin as Denise, and Angela Birchett as Jacky. The movie will feature re-recordings of some of The Clark Sisters biggest hits like “You Brought The Sunshine.” Loretha Jones exec produces with Holly Carter for Revele Entertainment and Shakim Compere for Flavor Unit. Christine Swanson ("Chicago P.D.") will direct based on a script written by Sylvia L Jones.
