If you're anything like us, you're super excited about BET's "Bobby Brown Story" coming down the pipeline. The network totally nailed the "New Edition Story" and we're expecting the same for Bobby's story.

What makes it even better is that biopic will star many of the same actors and actresses from the "New Edition Story", so that totally makes it more seamless. We won't have to figure out who's playing who, especially if they're nowhere near nailing it.

Woody McClain will reprise his role as Bobby Brown. Luke James, Algee Smith and Tank will reprise their roles as Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant and Jheryl Busby respectively. "Power" star Donshea Hopkins (Raina St. Patrick) will play the role of Brown’s late daughter Bobbi Kristina and Gabrielle Dennis will star as Whitney Houston.

NBC said "no" to the Bad Boys spin-off that stars Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba, titled "L.A.'s Finest." But, that wasn't the end of it.

The drama series got picked up by Canadian broadcast company Bell Media after inking a deal with Sony Pictures Television. Now, it's coming to our televisions in the U.S.

The Bad Boy spin-off is going to be Charter Communications' first scripted series after finalizing on a deal with Sony. The 13-episode series is set to premiere in 2019 on Spectrum's platform. Also, Pam Veasey has joined the series as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside co-creators/co-showrunners Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier. Gabby is also an executive producer.

The spin-off will focus on Gabby's character Syd Burnett, Martin Lawrence's character Marcus' younger sister, becoming an LAPD detective as she tries to escape her past.

Will you be tuning in?
