Kanye West was in the middle of his show at The Meadows when he abruptly ended it mid-song saying there has been a "family emergency."  Deets inside.

UPDATE (11:43p ET): Reports state the family emergency was about Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian West.  She was apparently held at gunpoint inside her hotel room in Paris.  She is unharmed.  CNN reports via Kim's spokesperson:

"Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed," Kim Kardashian West spokesperson Ina Treciokas tells CNN.

She's been in Paris with her sisters Kendall and Kourtney and mother Kris Jenner for Paris Fashion Week, posting her almost every move on Snapchat and Instagram.  We're also hearing unconfirmed reports that at least a million dollars of jewelry was stolen.

It's interesting to note that a serial prankster also "assaulted" her this week by literally kissing her butt as she exited her car.  Her security stepped in after he got to her.  The wrath of Yeezy is about to be serious....

Kanye was performing his Governors Ball make-up show tonight as the headliner of The Meadows Festival in Queens, NY when he suddenly ended his set mid-song. Based on the video below, he was performing his 2008 hit "Heartless" when he suddenly told the crowd "Sorry, family emergency, I have to stop the show."

The crowd seemed to think the sudden walk-off was another one of Kanye's just-being-Kanye moments.  But things got real when the festival themselves tweeted confirmation that Kanye had to suddenly leave:

Here's the footage below:

Festival goers said Kanye was close to 30 minutes late for his set and he abruptly ended it roughly 20 minutes early.

We'll keep you updated on any developments....
