BET promised to deliver when it came to the Prince tribute, and we gotta admit, they did just that.  In case you missed it, or just want to re-live the fabness that went down at last night's BET Awards 2016, we've got all the performances inside...

After the foolishness that was that Billboard Awards tribute by Madonna and poor Stevie Wonder who got dragged into the mess, BET promised to do right by the legend.  And that they did.

There wasn't one singular tribute, there were five scattered sporadically throughout the Awards show, encompassing 19 Prince songs total.

Sheila E. gave everybody life with a nearly 10-minute set that ran through some of Prince's set list faves.  The late legend's ex love interest, best friend and drummer gave it her all playing umpteen instruments and having the audience going nuts while singing and dancing as well (take notes, Alicia Keys).

She gave "Housequake" to "Erotic City" to "Let's Work" to "U Got The Look" to "Love Bizarre" and plenty more beloved tracks.  She brought out The Time's Jerome Benton and had Prince's ex-wife Mayte return to her bakup dancer role.  Nice!  Check it below [For mobile users, click "Classic Version" if videos don't show]:

Epic indeed.

Bilal tapped all the way into his Prince side as he busted out "The Beautiful Ones" after Erykah Badu and The Roots gave a vintage rendition of “The Ballad of Dorothy Parker”:

Bilal left everything on that stage.

Jennifer Hudson had the honor of belting out "Purple Rain" after Stevie Wonder and Tori Kelly rocked out to the Prince & Appolonia duet "Take Me With U":

J-Hud brought us to church as always.  As for why Fantasia, who's known for slayng this song, didn't perform it....who knows.

Janelle Monae gave us ass'd out pants, a la Prince, and energy galore with her renditions of "Delirious," "Kiss," "I Would Die 4 U," and more:

Maxwell started out with his own new song "Lake By The Ocean" before going into Prince's "Nothing Compares 2U":

And if you were wondering what happened to D'Angelo, it seems he bowed out at the last minute:

Not surprising, but disappointing.
