Lil Romeo Preserves His Myspace Sexy+Jamie Foxx Wants To Play Frank Sinatra?

Well damn Lil Romeo.  I see somebody is loving it up at USC.  The rapper/b-baller posted a personal photoshoot on his myspace page this weekend.  Something I'm sure his teeny bopper (and cougar)  fans will enjoy:

Funny.

And word has it Mr. Biopic Jamie Foxx wants to play ol' blue eyes himself Frank Sinatra. Leonardo DiCaprio and Harry Connick Jr. were among the names rumored to be in contention for the Rat Pack role after it was announced earlier this month that filmmaker Martin Scorsese will direct a biopic. But now Jamie, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Ray Charles in 2004's Ray, has emerged as the favorite to play the part. Apparently studio bosses are convinced Jamie has the charisma and talent for the role. An insider tells Britain's Daily Star, "Jamie would seem to be born to the role. Magnificent voice, convincing acting ability - like Frank himself - born the wrong side of the tracks, makes it big against all odds, has his brush with authority. The guy's a gift." Your thoughts? Salt N Pepa are still hitting up events everywhere:

They hit up an NFL/NBA event last night.  I wonder if they're trying to get another season of their reality show.

Beyonce Is Obsessed With #1

Say what you want about Beyonce, but homegirl knows how to sell a damn ticket.  The official numbers are in and Obsessed came in at #1 at the weekend box office.  Which means it beat out Zac Efron in 17 Again, Terrence Howard in Fighting, and Jamie Foxx in The Soloist which came in last.  Not to mention Obsessed brought in $28.6 mill already.  Mixed reviews are all over the place.  Some say it was just a mediocre knock off Hand That Rocks the Cradle/Fatal Attraction that belonged on BET Blackbuster night or Lifetime.  Others say it was a great movie that was entertaining.  Some say Beyonce's acting made it hard to be entertained by the movie, while others say she did a fab job kicking ass in heels. Either way, everybody and their dog went to go see that ish and it shows.  Whether or not she'll stay #1 next weekend is a different story.  By the way, Idris Elba--who was sometimes shirtless and always drop dead sexy in this movie--could get it 8 days a week.  And that's just real talk. Jim Jones, Dame Dash, and Diddy were all caught clowning around the studio a few days ago:

They were there discussing "business opportunities" and I'm told they can't go into detail just yet. Hmmm....

And Whitney's first comeback single has been confirmed. At the Pop Conference in Seattle this past Friday, famed songwriter Diane Warren revealed that the song she wrote for Whit called "I Didn't Know My Strength" would indeed be Mama Whitney's official comeback single. Diane said she wrote the song specifically for Houston. "I tried to get inside her head," Warren said about the track which Houston performed at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala on February 7th. "Strength" will be featured on the 45-year-old singer's singer’s seventh solo album, and will be produced by famed hitmaker David Foster. The still-untitled project has been speculated as a 2009 release. More ish when you read the rest...
