Sources are reporting that if he goes through with pleading guilty tomorrow as planned to those dogfighting charges, he could get himself out of federal prison and into a halfway house. He's back in VA now to face charges tomorrow.

Rihanna beat out people like Mariah, Mary J. Blige for her 2 awards. And neither Chris nor Rih Rih is known to have mass rave reviews about their singing or performance abilities. Rihanna took to the American Music Awards stage to perform her new single "Rehab": That bedazzled eye patch was killing me.  The gimmicks must stop for everyone in the industry.  Gloves, shades, chains, now Mama Tina's special creole creations eyepatch?  No ma'am.  The performance was blah per usual but Rih also looked fabulous per usual.  I'm sure that makes up for the lack of skills to some people. Elvis Kanye performed "Heartless" on the AMA stage.  That animal hanging out his back pocket kept distracting me.  Cool performance though. And Alicia Keys performed "Superwoman" bringing out surprises like Queen Latifah to rap and sing on the track as well as Opera extraordinaire Kathleen Battle.  I loved it.
