LeBron James isn't playing any games when it comes to building his Hollywood empire. Get the latest on the Lakers baller trying to do a reboot of Friday The 13th, plus deets on suspensions after that Lakers vs. Rockets fight inside...

LeBron James is putting in work ON and OFF the court.

As he emerges as one of the hottest producers in Hollywood, King James is setting up several new projects to add under his SpringHill Entertainment production company.

After announcing he's producing and starring in a Space Jam sequel, the NBA superstar has now turned his attention to a reboot of Friday The 13th. Variety reports:

Insiders say Victor Miller, who penned the original, regained the rights, though it took both production banners to bring back the classic horror series. Given Vertigo and SpringHill’s first look deals, Warner Bros. is expected to land the film. The studio distributed the most recent “Friday the 13th” installment in 2009.

The project is still in early development – no writer or director is attached. It’s expected to feature the goalie-mask wearing mass murderer Jason Voorhees, who has been the center of the hit franchise since the 1980 original.

Are you here for a reboot or nah?

So, in case you've been under all the rocks, THIS happened a few days ago:

A whole brawl broke out when during the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets game inside the Staples Center on Saturday (Oct. 21st). Lakers guard Rajon Rondo punched Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul in the face after Chris poked a finger in his face. Once they started tussling, Lakers forward Brandon Ingram then jumped in, throwing punches. Players from both sides jumped in to break up the fight as mayhem ensued.

Now, Ingram has been suspended for four games, Rondo is out for three games and Paul is out for two games. And they've all been suspended WITHOUT pay. They also have super hefty fines to pay: Chris was fined a total of $491,782.  Rondo will be docked a total of $186,207, while Ingram's total is $158,816.

The NBA issued a statement regarding the fight and why the players were punished the way they were:

"Ingram has been suspended for aggressively returning to and escalating the altercation and throwing a punch in the direction of Paul, confronting a game official in a hostile manner, and instigating the overall incident by shoving Rockets guard James Harden," the league said in a statement. "Rondo has been suspended for instigating a physical altercation with, and spitting and throwing multiple punches at, Paul. Paul has been suspended for poking at and making contact with the face of Rondo, and throwing multiple punches at him."

According to NBA vice president of basketball operations Kiki VanDeWeghe (who was at the game), Rondo received the harshest punishment for throwing the first punch. It's reported Rondo also SPIT on Chris.

"We try to judge each one of these [incidents] on the merits: who does what, who instigates, how dangerous the situation becomes and is," VanDeWeghe said. "And also the discipline is an act of deterrence. We want to make sure that we deter this further action and make a statement that this is not acceptable. Fighting's not acceptable in our league and never has been."

After the game, reporters asked LeBron about grabbing Chris Paul to help break up the fight. Here's what he had to say:

Below is a round up of reactions from the players on the court when the fight broke out:

And here's Chris Paul's reaction to his two-game suspension:

Whew, chile.

By the way, the Rockets defeated the Lakers that game, 124 - 115.

The Lakers will hit the court against the Phoenix Suns tonight. The Rockets will host the Utah Jazz tonight.
