SNEAKER FAB: Beyonce Nabs Her Own Custom "King Bey" Isabel Marant Wedge Sneaker

PMK, the same company that made Jay-Z's custom Air Jordan 1 sneakers, has announced a specially designed shoe in his wife Beyonce's honor called the "King Bey" Isabel Marant Sneaker Wedge. See pics of the kicks inside....

Beyonce is the latest high-profile celeb to have a high-end custom sneaker designed in her honor. And it's one fit for a Queen (Bey):

PMK, the geniuses behind Jay-Z's re-imagined Air Jordan 1's "Brooklyn Zoo" have now created a sneaker in honor of Beyonce called "King Bey" Isabel Marant Sneaker Wedge.

The one-of-a-kind design takes the Isabel Marant sneaker wedge to another level with what the company called the "Eden treatment." The press release says "A hybrid of land and sea skins are used to create this handcrafted creation. Stingray, Ostrich, calfs fur, Crocodile, and Anaconda give the already impeccable design atitude and the tones of white mixed with gold stitched details produces a feeling of elegance, mimicking the southern belle's sweet and fierce persona. Perfectly made describes this design best."

And since the Isabel Marant sneaker trend went through the roof--selling out everywhere--after Bey rocked the black suede versions in her "Love On Top" video, it's only right she gets a lil something special.

BONUS:

Beyonce has been added to the list of performers for the UK's 18th annual V festival on August 17th and 18th which will be staged at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire. She'll be performing alongside such acts as Rita Ora and Emeli Sande.

DAMMIT these are cute!!! SMH I'm so disappointed in myself, I tried not like them but I like what I like and they're cute shoes. Although I'm not sure why they designed a version in her honor when I'd seen everyone from Alicia Keys (MOF I saw them on her first), Tracie Ellis Ross, Gisele Bundchen, Miranda Kerr, Julianna Moore, Anne Hathaway and so many others wearing them. Oh well, they kept it authentic to her: snake, white, & blonde L☺L!
