Singer and lifestyle expert Mashonda celebrated her 35th birthday in NYC recently with friends Emily B and Jennifer Williams. See the party pics inside and pics of Diana Ross celebrating with her kids Tracee Ellis, Evan and Ross.

Singer and writer Mashonda celebrated her 35th birthday in NYC with dinner at Toy New York and after party at Mister H this past Wednesday.

She began the evening in an exclusive Gucci 2012 runway bodysuit and Christian Louboutin Decorapump Strass Platforms. Hillary Weston and Christina Rice were among her guests who toasted to Mashonda's day.

Former "L&HH" star Emily B was also among Mashonda's well-wishers.

Towards the end of dinner, she slipped into a Parker Exclusive Racer Back Sequin Wrap Dress with a pair of strappy leather gloves from Perrin Paris. She also be working as a brand representer for the company in a new venture this year.

After a messy divorce, Mashonda seems very happy and has move into a happy space. She also signed on as a lifestyle expert with VibeVixen.com where she will share tips of living a good life with readers this year.

The Ross family were out to celebrate with Ross Naess (Diana's oldest son) at the opening of his restaurant Sirena in the Beverly Grove area of LA.

Mashonda looked pretty and that cake is absolutely too beautiful to eat. I don't care for Jen's outfit but all Mashonda's friends are so pretty. I know Evelyn is jealous that she doesn't have a bevy of fly & connected friends like Jen. Love to see Diana Ross with her children. She is proof you can raise well-adjusted, respectful children and still be in the industry.
