MUSIC FAB: Tamar Braxton's "Love And War" Single

Reality star Tamar Braxton released her highly anticipated "Love And War" single today. Listen to the track inside....

On both "Braxton Family Values" and "Tamar And Vince" (which has it's season finale tonight) fans have watched Tamar Braxton talk about stepping out of Toni Braxton's shadow and has been begging her husbanger Vince to let her release a single. And now she is. And her new single shows she has what it takes.

"Love And War", which doubles as the title track of her upcoming disc, is a heart-wrenching love ballad that showcases the textures of her voice. Though Tamar's tone is very similar to that of Toni, her soprano reigns surpeme on this track and easily places her among one of the best R&B singers putting out music right now.

By the way, be sure to check out the finale episode of "Tamar & Vince" on WEtv tonight at 9/c.

Leave it to a woman to tear another woman down smdh....Jealousy is one of the deadly sins, Tamar's voice is beautiful! She also has the sassy personality to go with it; it saddens me to think that (black) women can't be happy for each other. Granted Toni will always be

Granted Toni will always be my FAVORITE Braxton and one of my favorite singers and there is no comparing her to Tamar because Toni is a living legend in her own right. However I loves this song. I think Tamar will be a bigger reality star than singer but this is a hit. I think if she stays within her age bracket and quit trying to drop it low like Beyonce she can be a smash; she is not going to appeal to the younger crowd singing wise and if she continues to try to then the older crowd will snub her. She needs to be like a Keisha Cole, where her music not to young but young people love it.
