Azealia Banks BLASTS Dolce & Gabanna For "Racist" Designs + IT'S A BOY For Amber & Wiz!

Azealia Banks is pissed at Dolce and Gabanna. And she's letting the world know she's boycotting the design house, all because of their latest designs that she deemed to be racist.

While in Brazil performing, Azealia told everyone what she thought about the Dolce & Gabanna collection she had just seen at Milan Fashion Week. And she clearly didn't like what she saw. Much of the clothing had African imagery that is deemed by many as racist, and models wore burlap sacks and plantation-era cornucopias on their heads. She tweeted this weekend:

"Definitely boycotting Dolce & Gabanna....Whoever designed that racist ass Dolce and Gabanna collection needs a swift kick in the mouth and a big dick up the ass.

I really hate when people do corny, racist things then try to justify it as "art." ... It's all just really unnecessary. the clothes in the collection were fine without all the "black mammie" imagery."

The Italian design house explained that the designs were a nod to their African-Sicilian roots and the first African settlers in Sicily. But Ms. Banks wasn't impressed.

It seems she's found a new designer love. She tweeted about popping her Gucci cherry yesterday:

Purchased my first Gucci Item today. so weird, i have stuff from all the other houses but finally made a gucci purchase. the shoes r boss!

In other news, Amber Rose revealed she and Wiz Khalifa are having a boy. Yep...they've got a mini Wizbud is on the way. And she broke the news by tweeting a pic of a friend's gift on her birthday yesterday:

My friend Maria bought our Lil Boy this Slash onesie..... Oops did I say Lil Boy??? ;-)

Well isn't that special. Plus, Wiz told his fiancee:

NOW SISTA IF YOU JUST WANT TO ARGUE THEN SAY SO!!!Because the african woman i saw on the clothing did'nt look like a mammy at all, it was just a dark skinned thick african sistaaaaaaa. Ok boo boo, black history

Ok boo boo, black history lesson 101. There is a history in this county of white people using blackface art in minstrel shows to insult and degrade black people. Those images portray dark skin black people as monkeys and gorillas by over-emphasizing black features like large noses and thick lips. They used names like "darky" and "coon" to describe black people in those shows. not if you don't have a problem being called that, that's on you. But I have a problem with it. D&G not only used blackface imagery on clothes. They even had blackface earrings and clothes made out of potato sacks (which is a throwback to cotton bags that slaves used). If this kind of art wasn't racist, it would not have been an issue during the Civil Rights Movement. LEARN your history my brotha or white people will continue to oppress you while you sit back and say nothing!

DARK SKIN, FULL LIPS, WIDE

DARK SKIN, FULL LIPS, WIDE NOSES, and THICK BODIES are indeed BEAUTIFUL AFRICAN FEATURES, but what D&G did was turn it into something UGLY! For starters, the PALE A$$ models they used looked ridiculous with HUGE "Blackamoor Statue" EARRINGS & BURLAP NAPSACKS on! D&G were GLORIFYING the SLAVE TRADE and the AFRICAN SETTLERS, CAPTURED and SHIPPED to ITALY. So are the people they are depicting (AFRICAN) ugly? HELL NO! But are they depicting them in an UGLY way....ABSOLUTELY!!

This is the best I've EVER seen Azealia look; more feminine and fun versus bully/wild-cat-like. And I agree with her stance on D & G. Some folks think that any representation of black history is good and should be celebrated, like they're doing us a favor. Not.
