As we sift through yesterday's mess of Idolgate 2012, folks are now weighing in on the fight between "Idol" divas & judges Nicki Minaj & Mariah Carey.  Check out what host Ryan Seacrest, Nicki's hairstylist & Mariah's hubby Nick Cannon have to say about the drama....

While Nicki's "people" are anonymously claiming that Mariah berated Nicki by calling her a "bitch" several times before the tape started rolling on the curse-out heard around the world, other folks are weighing in on the fiasco.

"Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, who was outside of the room and in the auditorium at the time of the heated exchange, said on his radio show today:

"These are all very different individuals with different perspectives and different opinions that provide for interesting conversation and dialogue and feedback for the contestants,"

"[There's] nothing wrong with disagreeing . . . That's gonna happen, and it's okay,

He further admitted:

"It got heated between Nicki and Mariah," admitted Seacrest, who was outside the auditorium during the dust-up. "It was intense! I'll be honest with you . .. It went far last night. It did get intense."

"We want that! We want them to be on this panel together. This is a good team, a great team, to go out and look for the next American Idol . . . the feedback that they give is very good."

Women arguing and calling each other bitches is exactly what Idol needs?  Ok Ryan.  Guess that makes sense coming from the creator of every E! reality show filled with basic chicks.

Meanwhile, Nicki's hairstylist, Terrence Davidson, defended his client via his Facebook page saying:

LET ME TELL YALL SOMETHING STOP HITTING ME ABOUT WHAT HAPPEND AT THE END OF THE DAY IT IS WHAT IT IS AND IF U WASNT THERE SAVE UR SPEECH. U ONLY SAW 1MIN OF THIS COMPARED TO WHAT I SEE AND HEAR ONSET SO BE CAREFULL HOW U JUMP LIKE A FROG ON THE WRONG LILY PAD! AND U CAN CURSE ME OUT ALL DAY CUS WHAT!!! I DONT KNOW U ANYWAY

And Mariah's hubby Nick Cannon came to her defense on "Access Hollywood" this morning. 

He chatted with hosts Kit Hoover & Billy Bush. And while he says of course he thinks his wife his the bomb, drama like this is not a big deal to them like it is to others. Check out what Nick had to say, plus him re-enacting the fight via a transcript. Ha!
