Though he was convicted of hitting her in front of their kids, Josie Harris says she forgives baby daddy Floyd Mayweather and is ready to move on. Find out what she said inside.........

We told you previously about Floyd Mayweather's conviction and jail sentence for beating up baby momma Josie Harris, and now the two are working on moving forward.

Josie told TMZ that she doesn't hold a grudge against Floyd and they're putting their past issues behind them for the sake of their three kids. She said,

"[Floyd] loves his kids and is a great father. He would never do anything like that again ... I'm sorry the situation happened ... now we will just progress and start over and move forward together."

So is it just that easy to move on? Josie added, "S**t happens. I'm not mad at him at all ... I love Floyd to death."

Ummmm why is it that this blog has an issue with someone forgiving another person? That's what we're supposed to do. So had she cursed the dude, she would have gotten a big up? YBF needs to mature a little bit. Her forgiveness doesn't mean she's going to forget or be all chummy with the guy.

I understand her need to "move on" and forgive, but I think it's the denial and cavalier attitude that comes through this article that makes it a bit unsettling. *Sh*t happens? Is that what she would tell her daughter or son if they were ever hit/abused? Yes, sh*t does happen, but abuse/DV is NO joke. Abusers must be held accountable. As far as Floyd is concerned, hopefully he will never lay his hands on any woman again.

We can't have it both ways: advise the former Mrs. Wade to move on, and malign this woman for doing just that. No one knows if he paid her off --- I suspect that he did, however she is correct: she HAS to put this matter behind her and move forward because ultimately they are parents to three children and must get along for their benefit. One can only hope that he has learnt that violence has no place in resolving family disputes, but as someone who makes his living with this fists I am not going to bet that he has :)

Floyd was dead wrong for what he did, but I never heard it was a beating. She probably feels that way because, according to her, they've been fighting each other for years. She talked about hitting him in the head with a Tanka truck once. They just need to leave each other alone and focus on their kids.
