Alicia Keys Rolls To NY Fashion Week, Drops New Single "Not Even The King"

Alicia Keys kept is shady--in her extra dark sunglasses--at today's Edun Spring 2013 NY Fashion Week show. All in support of her homie Bono's wife. Check out the chic lady in black & white, plus her brand new single called "Not Even The King," inside...

Rocking her Rag & Bone black/white two toned jeans and a white loose button down, Alicia Keys hit the front row of the Edun show today at Skylight Studios at Moynihan Station.

Alicia posed it up with the founder of Edun, Alison "Ali" Hewson, who also happens to be the wife of U2's lead singer Bono.

Also today, fresh off her Stand Up For Cancer performance Friday night, she dropped another track off her upcoming Girl On Fire album:

This one is called "Not Even The King." On the track, she strokes the keys while singing about the wealth of love.

THEORY ALERT!!! I don't think she wrote this song about her and Swizz, even though we really can't afford what they got (4kids, 4 different baby mamas, adulterous activity), I think she wrote this song because she wants to sing at the inaugural ball (if there is one), and she needed a song that fits that moment. Of course she's not gonna say that . This may all sound a little crazy but watch and see. I said the last time watch beyonce try to fit her thirsty ass in there somewhere and there she was. So calculated. Anywho I think she she knows that somebody will say "This song fits the Obama's perfectly,(which it does) lets have alicia sing it". This shit sounds crazy as hell but wait and see and if it don't happen it's because she read this and knows i'm on to her. LMAO...

You've said it yourself: Sounds a little CRAZY. P.S. Beyonce gave a very fitting rendition of Etta James' song, 'At Last', at the 2008 Inagural Ball; she did not perform one of her own. She is a dear friend to the Obamas, that is why she was selected. Why would Alicia need to produce a song of her own, let alone one about kings and castles, in order to do the same???
