Gabby Douglas Makes Her Rounds To "America's Got Talent," "The Colbert Report," & "GMA"

History maker Olympian Gabby Douglas has been making non-stop media rounds solo and with her Fierce Five gold medalist teammates.

We've got the YBF chick's recent stops--including co-hosting "America's Got Talent--inside...

During last night's Live Elimination round for "America's Got Talent," host Nick Cannon surprised the audience with his co-host for a few segments--Ms. Gabby Douglas.

Apparently the cutie says she would love to be on tv one day (in a more formal capacity than doing promo).  So Nick gave her a chance to floss her skills.  Check out Gabby learning some hosting skills from Nick (10:00-17:00) below:

The whole team stopped by "The Colbert Report" too.  Check out their "intern" capabilities below:

LOL at McKayla Maroney.

Last night, Gabby made a late night stop by Ted Gibson's hair salon in Beverly Hills to get a celebrity glam hook-up any 16-year-old girl would love. The "What Not To Wear" hairstylist and celebrity hair master invited hardworking Gabby to his studio for some much deserved pampering (and hopefully not because of that "hair" controversy--a foolish topic we have purposely not addressed).

Gabby tweeted about how great she felt afterwards:

Ted Gibson Is AWESOME!!! LOVE HIM SOO MUCH!!! A special thank you to my Gold Medal Celebrity Hair Stylist!"

Ted responded:

Gibson shared Douglas' electrifying energy by responding, "It's 3am, just left Ted Gibson NYC. Love you [Gabrielle Douglas]. What an amazing young lady you are. #award winner #gibsongirlsruletheworld."

And yesterday morning before jetting to L.A., Gabby and he Fierce 5 hit up "Good Morning America" in New York.  Loves it.  And we have a feeling Gabby's going to be landing a few actual tv roles soon....

She looks great in the PINK

She looks great in the PINK POLO! i don't think that the team is jealous of Gabby...The girls are cool...No one gave gabby anything. She worked hard and WON HARDER! Of course as a young girl its hard that your hard work didn't pay off.. But they don't seem disrespectful to gabby...if they try it....THEY WILL GET BEAT DOWN! We love our little Gabby...

Gabby is such a doll! I love the pic with her fresh face. The makeup can take away from her beauty.

Those other girls are

Those other girls are fiercely jealous Gabby. When they appeared on Letterman, it was written all over their faces. When the mandatory appearances with them are over, I hope she takes that time to shine. I just don't like how they look at her and talk over her.

Go Gabby!!!!!!!!!!The girls

Go Gabby!!!!!!!!!!The girls are great but that McKayla is a sore loser she should have been thankful for that silver. Think about the athletes who did not make it to the olympics or the ones who won bronze or did not medal at all. I was really disappointed in her actions. I guess they are trying to make a joke out of it now it don't work.

Gab deserves to get all that

Gab deserves to get all that attention! She worked for it! Nobody just gave it to her the media had every intention of fading her to black while touting the hell out of Jordyn to death even when she didn't qualify for All-Around. They ended up having no choice but recognize Gabby when she blew that competition for All-Around out the water. Furthermore, to the chick that said she is glad Gabby got her hair done....with her 90 million she will earn she can afford to get YOUR hair done for the rest of your life. Based on all those far off avi pictures you make sure to have, you need it too.

She is cute but was sup with the hair extension? People kept talking about this little girls hair as if is the hair that is performing for her, the bottom line is she is good at what she does period. Hair nappy or not, or premed or not …..get over it people.

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I'm so happy Gabby finally

I'm so happy Gabby finally got her "hair did." I feel bad that her teammates (do you know their names?) also worked hard to get the gold medal, but they really don't get as much recognition as Gabby or any nicknames smh. The one in the green is giving major attitude in the pic though lol.

It's funny that you say that,

It's funny that you say that, because so many years African Americans have been seen only as the costar when usually they're the standout. No disrespect to the girls, because they put in work, but I have to say it is quite refreshing to see her in the front of it all.

Gabby gets more recognition

Gabby gets more recognition because she won GOLD in the All-Around competition. It is the most prized possession in gymnastics! If one of her teammates had won the title, they too wound receive the same amount of shine Gabby is experiencing.
CLS1986's picture

Doubt it, but ok!! Michael

Doubt it, but ok!! Michael Phelps became the most decorated olympian EVER, and he has more than TWICE the medals as the person who previously held that record and he ain't getting that much recognition...maybe its an....AGE thing. *sigh*
tori's picture

What she's trying to let you

What she's trying to let you know is that Gabby accomplished something that no other American has accomplished, the team gold and the All-Around gold. This has nothing to do with Phelps. He's in a entirely different sport. She deserves the most shine out of any gymnast because of what she accomplished. Mary Lou didn't do it, Carlie nor Nastia did it either.
Tagirl27's picture

If I can add my ten cents -

If I can add my ten cents - lol - I think Gabby is getting more recognition than Michael Phelps because he's been around and Americans are used to him. She's the newbie on the block so-to-speak.
