But FORTUNE's succcess doesn't end there. He's performing well in Ireland, France, Japan, Canada, Switzerland and Germany. And on iTunes, he's the #1 R&B/Soul Album in 22 countries including: US, UK, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, Canada, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, New Zealand, Thailand, Philippines

I must say I kinda miss

I must say I kinda miss Furious and X,Y,Z......now the comments section isn't as stimulating. With that said, Mr. Brown has the number 1 cd in multiple countries regardless of how many new releases. The ability to maintain that & achieve plat status is his goal (and his record companies) no doubt. I wish him all the best. I know I wouldn't want to be constantly judged on mistakes I've made in my life.

Well Natasha if you are gonna report tell the whole truth please...... He was the only new album release this week and he only sold 134, 0000 copies first week sales. This was much lower than his Fame first week sales. And to add insult to injury Katy Perry Teenage Dream was number two which was release two years ago....... Not sure about a victory lap just yet. Just saying.....

@Tori, Funny that people are acting like this is so amazing.......come on he only sold 134, 000 ( considering he sold 270, 000 for Fame) yet the same hypocrites claim the Talk That Talk was a flop yet Rihanna sold 197,000. Also lets not forget that Fortune was on sale at Amazon for 99cent. Yet no one is acknowledging that fact. Just dont get the lies, embellishment and excuses made for CB over and over again. I am so happy for Chris.

I am so happy for Chris. Despite all the ups and downs this man is truly an entertainer. At the end of the day all he wants to do is entertain and ppl won't let him. He is not the first person to get into a club brawl, abusive situation or spout out at the mouth on twitter. He is young and this is his chance to live and learn and I believe that he is doing that. I hope he does another tour like FAME because I will definately be in attendance.

I love Breezy and applaud him

I love Breezy and applaud him for his success but this album should in no way, shape, or form be classified as R&B and/or Soul. The last R&B album he put out was Exclusive back in '07. He is still doing his thing so much love to him, is he still selling Michael Vick dogs online????

Yes. God HELPS sell cds, dvds, pays car notes, mortgages, student loans, commision sales etc. He does all things. Everybody gift from GOD is different. Just because you have an amazing voice doesn't mean you're suppose to be a "successful" singer. That may not be his plan for you. Or the records you do sell, saved someone from somethings that you would prolly never know. If I hit the lottery 2moro and you don't it doesn't mean GOD loves you less. His divine plan is exactly what it is. Lastly, I am the furthest thing from a Chris Brown fan, after he beat Rihanna I lost all respect for him, so this is in no way a defense for him, this a a defense of GOD, cause what you said was real offensive. #BAM!

You don't have to defend God from me because I believe in him totally and completely. But I refuse to believe that God is selling cds for anyone. My nephew is being abused everyday (in his own home) and I can't get him out because I don't have enough proof. It is a work in progress (please believe that). I pray with him and for him every night and believe I will be able to help him soon. (I pray that God keeps him strong so he won't break) But I digress... my point is that I doubt God is answering Chris' prayers of selling cds but is not helping my nephew get out of this abusive home! And I hope you don't say it's a part of God's plan! I know we believe in different ways, which is perfectly fine with me. I actually had this discussion about prayer with a leader in my place of worship today. So it's funny that we are commenting about it on theybf.

It's a shame he's been

It's a shame he's been clubbing and spray painting his crib this whole week, when he could have used his brain and set up some promo shows, done some radio interviews with a few stations he trusted. I know he said no more interviews and I know he had a court date, BUT DAMN. One thing I am proud of the the marketing from the record label, because there wasn't an object in sight that didn't have the Fortune banner. The album is his best to date and he should have been headlining the summer festivals. They need to let him travel to work.
