TYLER PERRY: "I HAD To Defend Casting Kim Kardashian!"

TheYBF.com caught up with Tyler Perry at his New York premiere for the upcoming Madea's Witness Protection flick. And surprisingly, Mr. Perry had much to say about the co-star of another of his upcoming movies, Kim Kardashian.

Director and actor Tyler Perry, pictured above at the Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection New York premiere at AMC Lincoln Square Theater, was every bit the confident head honcho when grilled by swarms of media about his castings of both Bobbi Kristina Brown & Kim Kardashian in his respective upcoming projects, "For Better Or Worse" and The Marriage Counselor.

"I didn’t have to defend Bobbi [Kristina], I had to defend Kim," Tyler revealed to TheYBF.com at last night's premiere.

He continued:

"There was so much going on in [Kim's] marriage at the time, but all that stuff is the past. The movie is called The Marriage Counselor so, of course, there was some stuff to say about that."

And if you think Kim's acting skills (on an actual movie set that is) aren't quite sharp enough, Tyler has a different opinion:

"You know, I think she did a great job. I don't think it could of been a better time for her because she was going through so much at the time. She did a fantastic job in the movie and I’m very excited about it.”

Oh. And as for his thoughts about Kim becoming the latest chick on Kanye's throne:

"Oh, they’re dating? Hey, well, life is short. I believe you should live your life. You only have one to live.”

That's one way to look at it.

The multi-talented Mr. Perry also clapped back at the critics of Bobbi Kristina's skills as he predicts she'll have an incredible career:

"As far as Bobbi Kristina goes, I didn't have to defend her casting. The whole purpose of that was to make sure she was around people who care and love her. What I found when my mother died is that you need to be around people that you trust, and I was glad that I was able to do that for Bobbi.

That kid did a great job! She’s so talented and such an actor. I’m so proud of her. I’m telling you now, as far as she wants to go in the business she can.”

Damn, what did Tyler do to some of ya'll heifers to make ya'll so salty? Did he slap you? Did he slap your Mama? If not, then ease up. And to the fools saying he "did it for the money," duh genius, of course he did. He's trying to get paper like everybody else so I'm not mad at him. Don't hate.

He doesn't have to slap anyone in the literal sense. I find that his casting of kim kardashian is just as bad as Oprah interviewing her. Have we all forgotten how she got and continues to be famous. With so many talented Black actresses out there, he could have casted those who are out there trying to find work the legitimate way! kk is already popular enough. Does she really need to be in movies and television shows now?

It's all a numbers game.

It's all a numbers game. Tyler new Kim being in the movie would generate buzz and result in more ticket sales. Thinking like that is exactly why he owns an island. As for Oprah, Lord knows that network needs all the ratings it can get, and an interview with KK generates ratings. I don't for the life of me understand why people don't understand that ALL of this is about MONEY! If you want to know the answer, ALWAYS follow the money! Yes, Oprah and Tyler want you to be your best you and live your best life and blah blah blah, but they only want you to do those things if their is a profit to be made. Recognize!

Tyler Perry had a talent contest on youtube where you can upload your videos. Of course, even that is disorganized and thrown together. Uggh. What a waste of my time uploading my talents to that site.

Tyler Perry is GAY. The reason he is in the closet is that he is using the church community and pretending to be something he is not. And he always wanted Kim because he wants Kim's fans to come support his movie....that is why he is even speaking about this. Tyler Perry is a FRAUD. I would respect him more if he were more upfront about his Trashy movies and his intentions to enrich himself. Just like his pal Oprah. It's all about his bottom line. That BS about Bobbi Kris is just that. He does not care about her. How can he? He does not know her to care about her. Sheer lies.
