Jennifer Hudson REVEALS Looks From Her NEW QVC Clothing Line

Jennifer Hudson has revealed a few pieces from the new clothing line she has developed for QVC in a range of sizes. See her looks inside.....

This September, Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson plans to launch the Jennifer Hudson Collection for QVC. She told WWD,

“I feel like I represent every woman. I’ve been on both sides of the fence. I’ve been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it. But I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it — no matter what size you are — and you could feel comfortable in it."

And expect to see a lot of leggings in the collection as the singer says she owns over 300 pair. “I’m the legging queen. What I love about a legging is, again, it’s a piece you can dress up or down and it’s still comfortable." Agreed!

QVC EVP Doug Howe explained why their working with Jen saying, “She has this great Cinderella story, an aspiration for different women. We don’t overtly go out to target someone who is Hispanic or African-American. We never look at it that way. It all starts with the person’s story and product. That dictates who buys it.”

I honestly don't see anything

I honestly don't see anything that SCREAMS Walm-Mart. All of the pieces I'm looking at right now seem to be tailored to the everyday woman. Women who want to look and feel rich, but without all the "she's trying to hard" feel. I, for one, can tell you that when her line gets to QVC, I'll probably be one of the first ones looking to see what else she has available. These pieces remind me that I can be a grown, more mature, sexier me. Thanks Jen!

That line screams WalMart, Kmart, Rainbow, Sams Club, Costco, etc. Puh-lease. I do not see one natural fiber in that collection. You go ahead and prance around in flammable materials and feel rich. Other people will keep their money and buy something that will last more than 2 washes. You are gullible to say the least...and that is why J.Hud will make money off of ppl like you. I like J.Hud, but this clothing line is a hustle like everything else.

It is America and your an american with bad taste! those clothes scream cheap. i hate to be a classist but thats why we have class levels...us that think these clothes are cheap see something you don't i guess. You probably aren't the type that would spend money on a BMW when you can buy a Hyundai....nothing wrong with it but just try to see the point here.

I'm sorry J Hud is known for

I'm sorry J Hud is known for many things, from singing to acting, but fashion is not one of them. I think she has always made poor choices when it comes to the red carpet and her everyday out & about looks. Her style just reminds me of a 1800's newly freed slave, very frumpy and not much thought put in it. If Beyonce couldn't get that Derion pop off I doubt j hud new line will, but since it will be on QVC there may be hope because everything sells out on that network, no matter how atrocious i t looks.

I am happy she is working on building her brand since her music and acting careers are not going anywhere but this clothes line looks very cheap and basic for my tastes. What she needed to do was to create one signature thing and build a clothing line around it rather than pump money into a line of Walmart Clothes at Macys prices. Take note of Nicole Ritchie. She started out with a couple of jewelry pieces in a signature chevron design and it grew into a hot line of rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, purses, shoes and now clothing. Baby steps...
