Our distinguished President, who turns 51 this August, is looking dapper on the new cover of Essence mag, on stands June 12th. He discusses his plan to improve the economy, our health, homes and future—and why he’s excited about the next four years. This month's issue also features a special salute to military families from First Lady Michelle Obama.

Mr. President spent yesterday in New York City at a few fundraisers and even "performed" a "Barack On Broadway" show with former President Clinton. Nice!

do you realize how hard being the President has to be! Obama has failed this nation. I agree it's not just about blacks but it's about failed policy all across the board. Obama has failed and he will be voted out of office. As the new president, and with the help of a solidly Democratic Congress, he gave us a bunch of stuff he said would turn things around: Nearly $1 trillion in stimulus spending, which was supposed to kick the economy back into gear; ObamaCare, which allegedly fixes long-term problems; the Dodd-Frank financial-reform law, which claimed to tackle the roots of the 2008 meltdown. Obama has not done well and he needs to go. The American public is pretty clear about this. It's not about Blacks but about the Nation.

Was he supposed to personally hand out 40 acres and a mule to all black people? I don't know what President is responsible for helping one specific race of people. That is down right ridiculous.
