BREAKING: 4-ALARM BLAZE Breaks Out At Tyler Perry Studios!

Firefighters in Atlanta are battling a 4-alarm blaze that broke out at Tyler Perry Studios around 9pm this evening. Deets inside....

Around 9pm this evening, Atlanta fire officials began battling a 4-alarm blaze at Tyler Perry Studios.

Atlanta Fire Department spokesman Capt. Jolyon Bundrige says there have been no immediate reports of injuries and the cause of the fire was not known. He added, "One building [stage 5] on the Tyler Perry Studio lot has, partially, collapsed due to fire damage."

The studio, which Tyler opened in 2006, includes a 200,000-square-foot studio, five sound stages and a 400-seat theater in southwest Atlanta.

Because you don't know any of the details and don't like Tyler? Often times SHIT HAPPENS! There's nothing sinister or suspect about it. This could be accidental, an electrical fire due to faulty wiring, or any number of things; but WE DON'T KNOW and speculating helps no one. Be thankful no one appears to have been hurt, but to expect people not to be concerned because Tyler "has insurance" is ignorant. I do not support or like all of TP's movies or characters either: but he has the right to make or portray whatever characters he wants to just like other Hollywood producers...and he might be deceptive or sneaky as you say. I really cannot fathom how anyone finds humor in Tyler Perry's studio catching fire. You don't have to be a fan of Mr. Perry or his work. However, the LEAST you can do is respect his work ethic and pray for the safety of his property that he worked SO hard for and that there be no losses of lives in the process of extinguishing the fire.
