DO GOODERS: Sheree Whitfield & Phaedra Parks WISH With The Kids

At yesterday's Wish Upon A Hero Foundation event in Atlanta, ATL Housewife Phaedra Parks and former Housewife Sheree Whitfield donated money to children & their families who needed a little help making their lives easier.

Pics inside of the ladies, who we hear barely spoke to each other even during an event for a good cause...

Phaedra was all about the kiddies yesterday as she handed out a $1000 check at the Urban Active Fitness Center sponsored event. And the recipient was a little girl named Addison whose family needed help with funding their trips to and from the hospital to get her the help she needs.

And Sheree handed out a $250 check to Brianna, who needed safe toys to play with:

depending on the purpose of the money $250 for toys and $1000 for transportation sounds fine. You have to keep in mind when it comes to tranportation depending on the location of their housing and the distance to the facility.

I will admit that I too was like, $250!!!, is that all she could do...but after reading and thinking, the majority of you are right, at least she donated something. These families had little to nothing b4 their donations, and they should be grateful for that. We are too quick to judge a person based on material things, if Sheree wants to carry $16,000 bags, thats her business she can. It isn't her responsibility, Phaedra, Nene, Kandi or anyone else for that matter to take care of the world's unfortunate...a simple donation, interest and time spent should be more than appreciated. Yes I do have a problem with the $250 that Sharee donated. Why? Because I do! Did I say anywhere in my statement that I knew what Sharee had in her bank account? No. Do I care? Hell no! However, if when she was preparing to go to this charity event and went to her local atm or bank to withdraw cash and all that came to mind was $250, then that's sad. $250 is not sufficient enough I BELIEVE for anyone who has been on tv and has discussed their financial assests or that of others. She has her "clothing line" and has JUST done how many episodes of that itty brain reality show? And you mean to tell me that $250 is enough??? GTFOH! For the record, I do donate to charity. I am fortunate enough to donate regularly in the form of cash, food, clothing and medical supplies. From 9/11 work, to Red Cross Katrina work, to local neighborhood charity work. So please, you take a fold-out bed and lay the hell down till it closes up with you guys in it. It sickens me because in no way am I the richest bitch in the world, however, I still give. $250 for some toys? That's something I would give to a godchild or family member. Take into consideration, this child received this money through charity. Meaning that this family does not make the means necessary to provide something as simple as safe toys for their child. Would it be a crime to provide some cash for her toys and just throw in a little extra for a few outfits, maybe a couple pairs of shoes and a little something for a few days worth of healthy meals? Its charity! That's my personal experience based on my own personal beliefs and experience with charities. $500+ would have been sufficient enough. But $250? The lady wants SAFE toys for her child. Not her dog. If Sharee was that hard up, don't you think her ass would've still been on tv? I know I would've! Whether she was kicked off or left self willingly. Remember people, no matter how much money you have or may not have, its always good to give. The simplest act of kindness goes a long way. Its ridiculous that those who came at me went off on some wayyyyy off the target comment about section 8 and this and that and have NO clue of who I am or what I do! Lmfao! I tell you!

I have a problem with the $250 amount too. I've personally donated more money to a charity than that, and I don't have "baller status" as Sheree claims she does. How are you going to strut around with $10,000 Birkin bags in every color of the damn rainbow and then cut a check to needy kids for $250? I applaud her for making the effort but we all know that this is just her attempt to stay relevant.
