Deion Sanders Cops SIMPLE ASSAULT Charge After Fight Night With Pilar

Monday night's big fight where Pilar Sanders allegedly attacked Deion in their suburban Dallas home--this according to Deion--didn't just end with Pilar getting arrested. Police have investigated further today, and have charged Deion with simple assault. Deets inside...

The drama just keeps coming with these two. Pilar Sanders was arrested last night and charged with domestic assault after getting into a fight with her estranged husband Monday night. After Pilar was released today and told not to return to the home for the next 60 days, cops have charged Deion with misdemeanor simple assault. But police say that charge does not warrant an arrest.

NFL.com says the charge against Sanders is one that covers "any act considered aggressive and could be as simple as touching or defensively jerking away from someone's grip." So it seems like a technicality. Or is it? Because Pilar is also accusing Deion of being the one who attacked HER. Not the other way around.

No word on if Deion's new citation will affect his long-standing analyst job with the NFL network.

I hate to see them go thru

I hate to see them go thru this so publicly. They both have really huge ego's and im sure deion is terribly mean to her. Im sure when she tries to resolves things civily he reacts with his ego in tact in a mean way. We all know deion is an egotistical jerk from Watching him in the nfl, so im not suprised if her was treating pilar that way. Its messed up he turned the kids against her though. I think they should just let go of the pain and hurt and egos for a while, and resolve this civily and move on. Im sure he's not tryna give her money, and thats what it's really about.

this is so messed up! she should not have jumped him though, really. two wrongs don't make a right obviously because now she's in a bad position - besides not being able to go to the house any more, she'll probably have problems with her boys -- that's sad. she knew based on a previous incident that he would call the police on her. he's obviously over the relationship. anytime a man will let a woman (especially the mother of his kids) get locked up - he doesn't care about you .. plain and simple. i really hope things work out for them, especially the children.

Deion should just move out of the home with his kids, finalize this divorce and move on. One can only imagine though, the way these two have been carrying on. It is ridiculous and very immature. Some parental role models they make....smh. It really depends on what exactly happened in that situation which no one outside of the incident knows. The police are most likely going by every statement received and coming to conclusions based off of that. But what is still puzzling to me is if Pilar and her friend attacked him then why wasn't the friend arrested as well?
