Kelis Rocks Out With Curls At The PALMS In Vegas

Kelis seems to be taking the recent Nas' "Behind The Music" episode in stride. Despite Nas' manager blasting her about spending up her ex-husband's money like there's no tomorrow, KeKe put on a floral dress yesterday and rocked her curls to kick off the season opener of "Ditch Fridays" at the Palms Pool & Bungalows in Las Vegas.

Kelis has finally found her stride again. She's been rocking some interesting looks and just seemed like she had something going on for the last couple years. Other than her divorce and birth of her baby boy Knight of course.

So the 32-year-old mom of almost 3-year old Knight hit the stage at the Palms Casino & Resort in Vegas to party it up with the crowd:

I mean regardless of what she did I didnt think it was cool bashing the mother of his child on national tv. He still has to deal with her whether he likes it or not. At least show a little respect my nigg. People are so quick to judge but he never mentioned his wrongs in the relationship. Well. DIdn't see the episode. Have heard many times about his love for her. I think it is sad that he still couldn't control his urges though he had a beautiful woman that he wanted to be wtih. I will tell all birds please do not think you are great because a man sleeps with you. It is likely he has a sexual problem and you are contributing to the problem with your low self esteem sloring ways-who didn't know the man was married. He tells everyone that will listen that he loves her. And he behaves and even looks to be broken and missing something. I can't say Kelis is wrong for the things she did. When you love someone fully and they cheat on you repeatedly it does something to you. Breaks your spirit. She does not look the same either. She doesn't look like the happy and confident milk shake singer. She is a shell. All the money she gets she earned. She was there with Nas. You don't know about her love, yearning, sleepless nights, maybe her pregnancy crying and alone. That is their business and he will pay one way or the other for the infidelity. She was peak in her career at the point when she got with him so that did kind of stop her income. Women have an industry shelf life while men don't. You don't see as many as the women still performing as much as the men from 20 years back.

I have always had a thing for Nas. Other than Tupac, I don't any other rapper that seemed beautiful inside and out. I also appreciate Kelis. Love her music and I hate that she doesn't get the respect she deserves from the music industry. So many chicks *cough* Rihanna*cough* profit off of her fashion and music style. I say all this to show how conflicted I am with who is right and wrong. BTW, Nas babymother did write a book loosely about him and said that he was more of an uncle than a father to their daughter. So, I would say that somewhat of a crazy story. Especially considering how his daughter has been willin on twitter . Despite Nas shortcommings possibly, I do think Kelis is asking too much...beyond the child support. I just hate that their son has to be caught in all of that.
