Alicia Keys Gets EDGY For VIBE's April/May 2012 Cover, Sits Down With Hubby Swizz Beatz

Alicia Keys is VIBE Magazine's April/May 2012 cover girl as they celebrate their 2nd Annual Global Issue. Check out her cover, plus our exclusive outtake from the issue, and an excerpt from her interview she did alongside her hubby Swizz Beatz.

Rocking her ridiculously beautiful canary diamond wedding ring, Alicia Keys is being her usual earthy yet edgy self in the new issue of VIBE magazine. In YBF's exclusive outtake shot, Alicia rocks only a red leather jacket and a set of colorful strings in place of a shirt, and her black lipstick. She dishes on the love she shares with her husband in her first real interview in years. And yes, her man Swizz (Kasseem Dean) was a part of the interview too.

An excerpt from their cover story:

“It was the craziest thing,” says Dean, leaning forward in his chair. “We had a work lunch with some people, and I get home and look in the back pocket—"

"My credit card was in his pocket,” Keys ﬁnishes the story, eyes wide. “Why was my credit card in his pocket?”

One explanation might be that he’d grabbed it by accident when they split the check, but that would be too prosaic. They saw the credit card debacle as a sign, the ﬁrst of many. Well, second, if you count the time, 14 years ago, when they ﬁrst met and Dean tried unsuccessfully to get her number from his friend. “It wasn’t our time yet,” he says with a smile.

There aren't any concidiences in life. Things happen for a reason. They were meant to marry and have a family together. There time was over a decade later. Congratulations on a happy, loving marriage and more success in each career. Only the best for these two.

No, Alicia's credit card

No, Alicia's credit card being in Swizz back pocket was a sign that she should run like he**. She married him after courting him while he was legally married. Swizz hit the jackpot with this chick. She opened connects and helped him with his spousal and child support, all the while giving him full access with a ring!! This dude is a clown. All these years, Alicia has tried to portray herself as being soooo deep. Yeah right, ho!! You are a lonely, disrespectful sugar mama!! You should have gotten your card back and left him alone!!

It's alright to think the way you think and maybe not aprove, even though you can't possibly know the truth, but to call her names is stooping pretty low and it's childish. She is a beautiful person and doesn't deserve the name calling.

Nothing that Alicia has done

Nothing that Alicia has done would change my mind about thinking she is a very deep person. I just don't understand how she can say her and Swizz are equals and on the same level. I don't think anyone had the respect for him that they had for Alicia. I mean Alicia wasn't out having kids with anyone and everyone. I doubt she was out flaunting herself around with just anyone. Her image was so clean. His wasn't. She may think he's her equal but to me she's not thinking enough of herself when she says that. I love Alicia and hope she continues to be happy and can even make him a better person. I still say she's a sweetheart and a much more beautiful person than even she could possibly realize.

Alicia is NOT stupid. Yes, maybe she didn't make the right decision as far as he is concerned, but that doesn't mean she is stupid. She is definitely very talented and she CAN sing. Hopefully she will prove everyone wrong and their marriage will last and she will be very content and happy. Still, I get a bad feeling about him but I really wish Alicia the best. She would never be suicidal, she has an angel in her life that is much more important than any relationship whether it survives or not.

Supposedly they began a relationship while he and his ex were separated, yes legally married but separated. Who knows why the divorce took so long but it did. For anyone who has never done anything wrong in their life you should definitely go ahead and talk. Then you can mark that down as the one thing you've done wrong. Judging. Otherwise it is not our concern and we should worry about our own transgressions because we know nothing about any of this other than hearsay.
