MUSIC FAB: Usher Readies 7th Album "Looking For Myself"

Usher is putting the finishing touches on his 7th studio album, Looking For Myself, due June 12. Get deets about the upcoming LP inside......

Fans of R&B icon Usher won't have to wait much longer for his eagerly anticipated 7th disc, Looking For Myself, as he's recently announced a June 12th release date.

And as his Diplo-produced single "Climax" climbs both the video and single sales chart, Usher promises even more genre-bending cuts on the upcoming album.

Capping off a successful run over the past few months with “Without You” by David Guetta hitting #1 on the Pop charts and “Promise” with Romeo Santos hitting the #1 spot on the Latin charts, Usher has called on top-notch collaborators like Salaam Remi, Diplo, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, and Max Martin to help him get another hit album.

Now that was a good videoI agree, I think that Moving Mountains is not only a great track, but maybe the best on the album. I've heard a few of the tracks on Here I Stand and I am irpeessmd and excited for his new album, almost the same enthusiasm with Confessions. Like Confessions, Usher has grown as an artist. And now, he's grown as Usher the artist, and Usher the man. Now a married man and a father, it really shows how much he's It's a powerful track and I cannot wait until the 27th to buy Here I stand.

I didnt think that anybody cared. I'm Team Chris Brown anywayz, out with the old and in with the new. Usher and his lil punk rocker old man look, is so 1.5 hours late. Hes on the late freight, I was off him after Chilli but more gone after he dumped his wife. Let Chris show him how to dance or sing then, I might watch again. Should he be in Vegas or a cruise ship by now. LMAOOO

I can not understand this man

I can not understand this man one bit. First he was in love with Chili from TLC, after seeing her show and watching her carry on, I see why that didnt work. Then he was with Naomi Campbell and the other tall chick. Next thing he went and married his stylist Tameka, he fought and argued on tv about her. He claimed to love her so much on 'Ellen" show, then 2 years and 2 kids later he just divorced her for no apparent reason. At least nothing big, cause I read about nothing that made the divorce happen. He is prpbably a confused guy, all these relationships failing has to be him that is the problem. I know man like that, he was toxic and beat his gf's if they said one thing wrong. Usher's new song "Climax" is about his wife I bet, she holds a spot in that man heart an she has his kids. I hope he find himself soon, he is a confused brother. Cute kids though. I dont like his new style a bit.

If Frank Ocean is the future of music, I need every major label in the world to shut its doors effective immediately. Frank Ocean is great to people who couldn't ID great music with good ears. I feel bad for the misguided youth of today. Not only will thousands more of you be systematically picked off before it's over with, sheerly because of your ignorance and inability to make tangible contributions to this world, you think everything you do is "stellar." People really have the audacity to liken J. Cole to Jay-Z. J. Cole will NEVER have a career that spans 20 years. He is lucky to see 20 months in the game. The current crop of people in the recording industry were given their spots by older people who are striving to stay "in touch" with what's current. The problem is, what's current sucks. From music, to art, to fashion...everything that is produced today is merely a replication of a time or an individual that was actually great. Usher's career spans 20 years. If he releases a mediocre or even a wack single such as Climax, his repertoire of hits and his Soundscan numbers are so massive, it won't adversely affect him one bit. Usher is one of the only LaFace artists who hasn't filed BK, didn't sue the label, and didn't suffer from a personal or professional standpoint for any reason aside from the public disliking his relationship with Tameka. To that, I ask, who gaf? Let 'em hate. They're sleeping alone. Usher has more hits in him, but I'd like to see him develop more artists like Justin Bieber and play the background where the LONG money is.

Usher needs to "look for a stylist" while hes on the hunt for himself!! The barber chair wouldnt be a bad stop over either, this man has looked like SHIT since his divorce from Tameka. I was mad that he got married at first too, but I now see that she had this man together (sidenote: wasnt she his hair stylist?) He looked the best in that Here I Am album time, he has looked straight vagabum ever since. Either vagabum or gay, with tight pants, muscle shirts and gay jewelry. I dont know what happen but Usher lost that swexy flow after her. His songs went white too, maybe it that white, nappy head lady he's married to now. She cant be of help to his sexy. Tameka need to do both of their hair.
