The Dream RETURNS To The Stage, Calls Out R&B Dudes For STEALING His Sound

The Dream, who's performing on the "Kill The Lights" Tour, hit the stage recently to a packed audience that included Jay-Z and Beyonce. He performed a medley of hits and called out a few R&B dudes for stealing his swagger. See clips from the show inside....

After a two-year absence from live performing, The Dream hit the stage recently and had a few choice words for R&B dudes stealing his swagger. He told the audience,

“I haven’t done a show in close to two years. And ever since then, there’s like, four niggas that sound like me now. I’m just being honest.”

He added that he had a hard time getting his own records played in 2007 because of his sound...but now everybody had copied it.

He kept mum on who he was talking about.

And in the audience....

Jay-Z and Beyonce got a babysitter for Blue Ivy so they could catch the show!

there is nothing new under the sun...r kelly jacked lenny williams...trey songs jacked r kelly, etc. i could go on and on with other artists. i mean, it happens. instead of being salty, take it as a compliment that your style is hot enough for someone to want to jack. and i agree with the other posters, the dream should stick to writing. everyone is not meant to be a recording artist. you need to know where you talent lies and his is with a pen and paper writing songs for female artists. that's where the big bucks come from anyway, so he just needs to play his position, collect his checks, and keep it moving.
