In the program for Whitney Houston's Homegoing, Cissy Houston penned a letter that detailed an interesting event that happened the day Whitney died.

And in a surprising turn of events, Cissy was visited by her spirit.

Oprah Winfrey (who attended the homegoing service) posted a message to her fans saying she was thinking about a “way we could have all come together and celebrated [Whitney] while she was still alive." She added,

“I’m hoping to be able to do that for people while they’re alive now. I hope you think about that, too.”

I love Whitney and I honestly

I love Whitney and I honestly feel touched and a bit of Cissy's grief, however I'm sorry to inform Cissy and others thinking the same, but when you die your soul leaves your earthly flesh and goes to either of two places: you are cut off from The Most High forever and sent to hell aka Sheol/pit or you go to be with the Lord in Heaven. The dead do not float around on earth saying their last good byes and sending messages to the living. That is unbiblical and new age occult thinking. There is however, a such thing as familiar spirits. Everyone has a familiar spirit. It's a demonic spirit assigned to you that has been familiar or around you since birth. Just like the children of The Most High have guardian angels charged over protecting you, you also have demons monitoring you whose mission is to eventually take you to the pit when you die. There is also something called necromancy where people contact the "dead". They are never really contacting the dead but are contacting demons familiar with that person that can tell you anything about them. As Christians one is not to engage in this as it is purely satanic, furthermore as a Christian you should understand what happens to you when you die. Pagans may engage in this but not Christians. Sometimes we feel so empty and at a loss so we make ourselves feel better by believing that our dead aunt, grandmother or what have you came to visit you. That is not true. If you want to feel at peace just ask the Lord, he'll give you a vision of your loved one and he'll give you assurance and peace of mind. Last time I checked He is the eternal Lord and King over ALL spirits.

As someone who was a

As someone who was a non-believer in a power higher than myself, I became a believer at the age of 16 when my mother passed away unexpectedly. That night she came to me in a golden light and was with Jesus. Within in my heart I know this to be true and as a christian this was the validation that I needed. So yes, I believe that Cissy was visited by the Spirit of her daughter just like I was visited by my mother. Open your heary, your mind, and soul and realize you are more that your five senses. Umm sir, with all due respect. You gave alot of "so called' information about what happens after someone dies and I applaud you for what you say you know from the Word. However, God can do whatever it is He wants to do. It wouldn't make much sense to add something like what Mrs. Houston experienced in the bible, because as you mentioned, the demonic forces and people that operate in cohorts with them would only try to pervert the meaning and purpose of such incidents. Plenty of miracles happen to people everyday that aren't spelled out in the bible but they are real. The experience of death is a mystery that only God knows so none of us is an expert in that area. But keep studying and praying and staying close to Him while you're here because as you stated, the goal is to get to the right place, that being with Him in heaven.

I still remember when a close family relative died. That night, in my dreams, we played as we always did...and then she told me she had to leave. I cried, asked her why, begged her to stay. She told me everything will be fine but it's her time to go. The next morning they called me and told me she passed away in her sleep. RIP Patricia.

Did you know that Aretha's invitation to the funeral was revoked because the Houston family were upset over what she said in the Today Show interview? Miss Franklin implied (according to the Houston's) that they were responsible for Whitney's addiction. We will never know but one thing is for sure, they should have done everything possible to keep her off that disastrous 2010 tour after she lost her voice. Why were people continually asking her to perform when they knew she was well past it and should not have been on stage.

Um hum I heard that also. I am not surprised at all. This family likes to hide shit and blame people for their problems. I watched the interview with Rea and she didn't say anything wrong. She just touched on the fact that parents have to really talk to their children regarding the ways of the world. She also said that Cissy taught Whitney the right things, but Whitney lost her way somewhere along the way. I knew that they would have a problem with that statement because this family in true denial. They blame Bobby for Whitney's drug use when they knew good and damn well that she was already getting high with Gary and Michael before she started dating Bobby. They act like its so impossible that she died from drugs when they know that she was still using. Whether she was addicted to prescription drugs or alcohol before her death, she was still addicted. They act like Krissi doesn't have a problem. These people are really out of it. I do feel for Cissy for losing her child. I have also lost a child but she needs to be honest with herself.

I read that she said she had a concert, and didn't want to do both, which I thought was disgusting, and I believed the Illuminati told her not to go. When a mother denies her

When a mother denies her child or not accept her child, that can fuck up a child's mind. It makes them grow into a bitter, bitter adult. Some say Whitney was "pressured" out of her self to live up to her mother's image of her, by marrying a dude and all that. Maybe Whitney could not stand up to Cissy and felt in order to show her love to Cissy she had to be like all the other girls and marry a dude. But when a person is denied their true sexuality it makes that person bitter as hell. Drugs or anything to help quell the anger and bitterness. Whitney seemed happiest when she was with Robyn Crawford. But trying to hard to put across a certain image she broke off and married a dude, to dispel rumors of being a lesbian.
