Thank you Chaka for being the voice of sensibility in all of this. I was saying the same thing. She did not definitely have the right people around her to advise her and encourage her. I am not even in Hollywood and I never have gotten good vibes from Davis. He seems to be a wolf. He will move on to the next money maker.

Glad to see that at least someone still has a heart and common sense. It was so disrespectful for the party to still be going on when Whitney had already died and was also on the 4th floor dead! Then the same stars have the nerve to say they feel sorry for Bobbi Kris? Do you really? I couldn't tell! What did they think she had earplugs on and didn't hear the loud music? Did they think she closed her hotel room blinds and curtains and didn't see those disgusting celebs on the red carpet and cheesing like everything was all good! I also don't buy it for one minute that Whitney's mom was okay with the festivities going on as planned. Clive is money hungry and was only concerned about him.

Chaka Khan is so right! A question for you all? Would you go to a party that is held downstairs while your friend's dead body is lying upstairs? And don't tell me everybody grieves differently! Pain is pain! if you have ever lost a loved one you can't sit here and tell me you will go to a party and mingle with people who do not give a shit about your friend, getting their party on like "your" friend is not lying upstairs dead with her kid in the hospital. I live amongst these entertainers, I hang around these entertainers and all I can say is- their world is the shallowest world anybody can live in and that is why most of them are on drugs or alcohol! Nobody can live in this world and be a normal human being! Some people go in with good intentions but after living the "Hollywood" life for a bit, you start becoming just like the rest of them-shallow, callous, manipulative, selfish, money hungry, social climbing excuses of human beings! And that is how you play the Hollywood game, everyone for themselves! So I am reading this article about how Clive Davis is having a hard time with Whitney’s death. He is not sure whether to go on with the party, not go to the party himself, cancel the party of what? And I am thinking to myself watch this, he is going to hold the party, and he is going to come out and say to the media "This is what Whitney would have wanted” And those were exactly his words! I wanted to throw up! And those were exactly the words of each and every artist who went to that party; the artists who claimed that they were inspired, friend of, bla bla bla of Whitney-yes you Kelly Rowland, Brandy, Monica, Diddy, Neyo, Alicia...These people who would be hogging the airwaves with all kind of “personal stories” about Whitney! These people are a whole bunch of self serving individuals! People in Hollywood do not go to parties to simply party; they go to parties to schmooze, social climb, meet that person who is going to make your hustle even better! These are just a bunch of hustlers who do not care for anyone else but "Me, myself and I". So when I see them going to this party all chocked up, crocodile tears with sad faces and all the fake somberness they could manage to display for the camera; and then when the cameras are off go inside and its PARTY TIME? Even worse, while the body of their so called "friend" is lying upstairs! While their so called friend's daughter is being rushed to the Hospital! Yeah what are they going to do next? Dance on Whitney’s Grave? I mean could any of you people on YBF do that? Party with no care in the world while your friend is dead upstairs? I mean damn I couldn't even do that to my enemy! That party was really in bad taste so bad that you could even hear the music pumping while the coroner was being interview at the scene. But hey! That is Hollywood for you, when your are on top everybody is your friend until shit goes down! And then the fact that you have no real friends but yes people all around aka the enablers? That is the dark side of Hollywood! All the money in the world could not replace the human need for real love and true companionship. The drugs and the alcohol are used to fill the hole of true human emotions. Sad

The party was not cancelled because of money!!!!! This is what I believe. Now, I'm not saying it was right to continue to have the party; but think about in these terms, someone paid for the room; they paid for the food; if tickets were purchased, then money would have to be refunded. This party illustrate whats wrong with the music industry and corporate America. They value the dollar instead of the individual.

I read somewhere that even though whitney died around 4pm the medical coronor was made to wait until 12am to pick up her body because of the party and not wanting to upset the guests .... irony is Sony couldn't and didnt wait to jackup the prices on her cds. 3 of which Mr. Clive Davis will get as much as 10percent royalities aint that some s***t

I thought that party was so disrespectful I felt like Clive Davis would have been too distraught to even appear.. But to see him appear & continue as though her poor body & grief stricken daughter weren't above them. The ppl that were supposed to, claimed to love her mom the most mingled & partied while Whitney lay lifeless & her daughter be ushered back & forth stressed. The pre grammy party was just disgusting. If Clive had any respect or love for Whitney, as a jew there is no way he would have continued on with business a usual. Jews shut down when their loved ones & friends die, they sit shiva out of respect for the dead, even the most unorthodox jew observes shiva.. So Clive delivered the most insulting blow to whitney & her family. If anything that party should have become an impromptu memorial & gathering for those who were already there. They should have had the lights on music off & the only focus should have been to ensure the investigation taking place above them was thorough and complete and there to console & be supportive to bobbi kris... I love my girl chaka for putting him on blast and Celine Dion also expressed her outrage....

I'm now starting to wonder, if he was the one responsible for introducing her to drugs. That is a powerful way of keeping someone under their control.

Only in LA would people continue a party. Chaka being a veteran music star knows what she is talking about when questioning whos decision it was to have Whitney come to LA for a week before grammys no doubt in my mind it was Clive Davis himself and hes the one who pushed her into doing a tour last year & while claiming to have great love for the singer yet when she died he continued on his annual grammy party as usual. this is why I may miss the great music of 70s,80s & 90s those music artists had great record companies behind them but I dont mourn the lost of all the shady record execs like Clive Davis at all when he and his generation pasts it will be the best thing for music artists everywhere black or white.

I agree with Chaka....when they said Clive had gone ahead with the party....I wasn't shocked but I really did think it was a way to tribute Whitney. It wasn't until Monday that I saw videos where Pitbull was performing...clearly this wasn't the tribute that he said it would be. I can see why Clive did not cancel because of business obligations but he should have made sure it was a complete tribute to Whitney (e.g. a prayer, a song or two to tribute and then dinner, then everyone goes home). I expected better from Clive that's for sure considering just how CLOSE to Whitney he was, it should have been a true tribute to her.

I agree with Chaka. Whitney needed someone there with her to guide her. Yes she was 48, yet I believe she had major anxiety and it always helps to have a supporter there, maybe even her mother to spend time with her. Just having her body guard, her daughter, and hairstylist there on the trip with her did not cut it. Her voice will forever live on and I will always love her and her music!
