First off just to enlighten you..Harlow was on the scene decades before Monroe...are you saying that Monroe bit off of Harlow and then Madonna bit off of Monroe who in turn bit off of Harlow? You are very confusing with that analogy...also the STUDIO'S created the Harlow image and the created the Monroe image that is why she was so unhappy because she wanted to play unsexualized roles and she got her chance in 'Bus Stop' and then 'THe Misfits' right before she died. So if anyone gets the credit I guess it would be Louie B. Meyer and those other white Hollywood men who created all of the characters you have seen in pictures from the 20's to the 60's...Madonna did create her own lance because no one was doing the ridiculous antics that she was when she first stepped on the scene back in the 80's...I am an 80's baby, grew up in the 90's and the 40's, 50's, and 60's will still be my all time favorite eras...lol

Unlike some artists, Madonna

Unlike some artists, Madonna has a time-period voice. If she doesn't pair herself with modern artist or have music that is modern, her songs will come across like it's stuck in a time period, just like this video. The one she did with Justin Timberlake was successful because it was very techno and funky. The music over powered her vocals but it was a good thing. This song I don't really care for. It kinda reminds me of that cheer-leading song "Oh Mickey."

I grew up listening to Madonna so I am a huge fan and I love the song and the video. She looks great, I can't believe some of the post claiming the opposite! I'm soooo glad M.I.A. is on this record and video (she's an awesome artist), but I wish Nicki wasn't. I think Madonna just put her on the song because she's what's hot now. But she made up for that by adding MIA, so I'm not mad at her...
