Willow Smith is showing off her new hair 'do to her fans. She posted pics of her newly shaven head. Decide if we love the Roc Nation pop tween's new look inside...

So much for whipping her hair back and forth. or anywhere for that matter. Because she's just shaven it all off. 11-year-old "Fireball" singer Willow Smith, whose debut album Knees and Elbows is due out this spring, posted her brand new look for all the world to see. And she looks like she's loving it as she poses with friends and during her ballet class:

Her parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have made it known that they allow their kids to make their own decisions. Wonder how they feel about this one. So...

In a time when our young Black girls still have low self-esteem and other emotional issues related directly to wanting their hair to be everything they see in the media which for most of them is everything that it's not, I like this. Willow is embodying what India Arie once said, that she is not her hair. Kudos to Will and Jada for raising such strong-minded, independent and forward thinking children that Willow at 11 is functioning at a level it took India Arie many years and much angst and heartache to reach. A level I might add judging from many of the comments here most of you have yet to attain. No wonder you hate this child!

I LOVE IT. I think it is soo sad how people still want to view hair as a major deal. First of all the hair cut looks amazing on her. Nothing is wrong with her. I cut my kids hair after ruining it with a perm, the edges broke off and they rocked the mohawk look for a while. She is probably just starting from scratch. Her hair will grow back in a few months.

Definitely a train wreck waiting to happen. This is what happens when children grow up in the spot light and are given too many choices too young. There is nothing wrong with personal self expression, but in time certain things will be allowed. Right now it's just doing too much. Yes it's hair and it'll grow back but its very well known that people tend to do this as some type of statement. Whether its seeking attention, approval, or just trying to rebel none of is a good sign. The uncertainty to the public as to what's going on with her parents would allude to the fact that something bad is brewing and the child is screaming for attention.
