President Barack Obama BUSTS OUT Rendition Of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" At The Apollo!

Last night during a fundraiser at the Apollo Theater in New York City, President Barack Obama pulled out all the stops including belting out Rev. Al Green's "Let's Stay Together." Watch the video inside and see photos from President Obama's visit to the home of director Spike Lee and wife Tonya Lee Lewis....

On the road to re-election, President Obama isn't holding anything back when it comes to getting folks to donate to his campaign. And last night at the Apollo, President Obama did as anyone would do at the historical theater, and showed off a voice we never knew he had.

During his speech, he made a gesture towards Rev. Al Green (who was in the audience) and sang a note or two of "Let's Stay Together."

No Sandman.

FUN FACT: President Obama is the first sitting president to attend the Apollo!

Earlier in the evening, President Obama was guest of honor at an intimate affair with director Spike Lee and his wife Tonya Lee Lewis and 45 guests (including Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon) at their Upper East Side brownstone. A ticket for the event was $35,800! Spike tweeted two pics from the evening....

There's nothing wrong with

There's nothing wrong with being critical of the president, ANY president. The people who voted him in, have every right to hold him accountable. Some people voted for him strictly because he was black and/or had "swag", but others voted for him based off of his promised policies. For every politician, people need to learn to separate "personality" from "policies" and pay attention to what's really going on. Saying that, I will vote for President Obama again--not because of my loyalty to his blackness or "swag", but because I'm willing to give him another 4 years to try to correct this madness that's going on out here, no other candidate can/will do any better, and because I know his strings are being yanked by Wall Street oligarchs. However, I am a bit disappointed in his continuation of all of the Bush policies (ie. No Child Left Behind, the Patriot Act, Taxes, etc...), not having a public option in the Health Care Reform bill and now this new National Defense Authorization Act.

He's full of -ish: and if the shoe were on the other foot...if Obama had an ex who aired the same dirty laundry, EVERY comment by Gingrich, EVERY ad he ran, EVERY interview he gave, he would talk about it from today thru November, 11:59PM on Election Night! pres.obama is the ultimate crush in my book. everything about that man is on point. his charisma, charm, elegance, humility, intelligence, love for his wife, for his chldren. His honest passion to do the right thing. This man is a wondeful testament of what a real man is. I would never compare him to Bill Clinton, personally I think Pres.Obama exceeds any man in Washington before and after him. This man has integrity, and motivation. He's just a beautiful person. I would like to see a video of the president talking about his plans for this nation. Although the current unemployment rate is lower, many college graduates are having a hard time to find jobs. That makes it difficult to pay student loans. There are other issues such as health insurance and poverty.
