Philadelphia 76ers baller Thaddeus Young has announced his engagement to his college sweetheart Shekinah Beckett. See the engagement photos and get the deets on their romance inside....

Memphis, Tennessee native and former Mitchell High School basketball star Thaddeus Young recently became engaged to his college sweetheart Shekinah Beckett.

The pair dated for a while at Georgia Tech....but the relationship didn't last.

Then one day out of the blue, the now 76er baller Thaddeus showed up at Shekinah's house and basically told her he couldn't live without her! Now a few years later.....they are going down the aisle together and couldn't be happier!

And look at them now.....

Congrats to the twosome!

The media loves to portray

The media loves to portray black men who only go for non black girls. Yeah, the ones who are insecure for being dark/brown, and are whitewashed. Don't want beautiful dark skinned kids because they hate themselves. Black love is beautiful. Beautiful couple. Nobody is continue to praise our own than ourselves.
