Gwyneth Paltrow, Solange & More Send WELCOME Messages To BABY BLUE IVY CARTER!

Celebs are just as excited as us about Beyonce & Jay-Z's new bundle of joy. And the couple's very close friend, Gwyneth Paltrow, not only sent an official WELCOME to Baby Girl Carter, but cleared up the name confusion.

While early reports had baby girl Carter's name as Ivy Blue, reports lated updated it to Blue Ivy. And Gwyneth Paltrow has now confirmed the name is indeed Blue Ivy Carter.

Gwyn tweeted this morning: "Welcome to the world, Blue. We love you already."

When one of her followers asked whether the baby was named "Ivy Blue or Blue Ivy," Gwyn responded, "It's Blue Ivy!' So there you have it.

Auntie Solange Knowles chimed in saying: "The most beautiful girl in the world." Awww.

Beyonce's stylist and close friend, Ty Hunter, tweeted a simple smiley face when the news broke.

The "X-Factor" folks (where Beyonce has appeared a few times pre-pregnancy) tweeted their congrats: Congratulations to @Beyonce, Jay Z & Blue Ivy Carter! x

Rihanna, Diddy and Russell Simmons were amongst the first celebs close to the couple to tweet their welcomes, with the "Talk That Talk" singer saying "Welcome to the world Princess Carter, Love Aunty Rih!"

I'm glad the baby was

I'm glad the baby was delivered safe and sound and I consider myself to be a huge Bey fan (I buy every album, I have seen her perform on 4 continents, I was at Roseland, etc.). With that said, I am HUGELY disappointed in her security team and about how the media is reporting they treated other parents in the NICU unit of Lenox Hospital. I understand the need for security when you're high-profile, but to prevent parents and family from seeing sick babies is just low-down and wrong. This isn't about status and NICU is NOT a VIP club with a velvet rope. This is about life and DEATH and no child's life is more important than another one, I don't care who their parents are. Bey needs to issue a public apology for her goons or I'm done with her. Outright foolishness!

You're done if she doesn't issue an apology for her goons? I question you actually being a fan because you sound like a closet HATER. First off, she is never one to actually issue any statements. And this situation like her pregnancy has been blown out of control by the media. Doctor's wouldn't risk other patients health for anyone not even Beyonce. Also, this man claiming he didn't see his children was it confirmed by the hospital? My daughter was in the NICU for a month after she was born and the hospital we were in was very strict. We had to have our wrist band on which was given the day she was born. There isn't a hospital where you can just walk into the NICU. Everything about this woman's birth has been a circus. She deserves respect and the ability to give birth in peace just like every other woman. Hence the need for such security measures. But again, I doubt this would keep doctor's from patients and parents from their children.

See, people don't READ. That's the problem with America. This story has been printed in EVERY major newspaper in NYC (NY Post, NY Times, NY Daily News, etc), so it is, in fact, credible. And no, I'm not a closet hater, I'm stating facts. Even doctors at the hospital are complaining that they're having problems getting onto the NICU floor because of Bey's security. Why would the doctors lie and risk their jobs? And duh, of course the hospital isn't going to confirm the story because it makes them look bad. The hospital got a free million-dollar luxury delivery suite out of the deal so they're going to remain quiet. It's not like Bey is going to tear the damn room down and stick it in her purse when she leaves the hospital. All I'm saying is that NICU is not the place for diva antics. When doctors can't do their jobs, people die. I love me some Beyonce, but their is NO excuse for this foolishness!

I have never been a big fan

I have never been a big fan of Beyonce, I do like Jay-Z and I am happy for the amazing addition to their family BUT they and Lenox Hill Hospital had me PISSED this weekend! Two of my friends had their twin girls there last Wednesday, both babies where underweight and had to be placed in NICU. Mr. & Mrs. Carter proceeded to pay Lenox Hill $1.3 million to redecorate and privatize the wing where the NICU happens to be and subsequently when she came in for her scheduled C-section, her $2 security guards flooded the entire wing keeping people out of the wing. They supposedly went as far as putting tape over security cameras, having people leave their cell phones etc. My friend and other parents were kept from seeing their children in NICU...in his case for up to 20 minutes at one point. There was even a doctor who lodged a complaint because he wasn't allowed to see his patient. Now the idiot spokes person is saying she didn't hear any complaints, of course she didn't due to the ringing cash register sound in her ears! Whatelse should she have said, "I sold out the safety of other patients for money and get a leg up in the elitist society of the rice and famous?" I can understand the need for security albeit it isn't a messiah being born, they could have had two security guards at the door and that should have suffice but to have the entire wing on lock down? They and Lenox Hospital are very lucky that nobody's child went into crisis or that 1.3 million would have been chicken change. I mean for that much money she could have built herself a small clinic if privacy is what she was looking for. These celebrities always cry about not having privacy but they do things to keep calling attention to themselves. There have been many people who are as big as these two and have managed to have children without the drama, Mariah took up an entire floor at a hospital too but we didn't have drama because her guards didn't disturn other people there for their children.

Quit crying. Hav understanding. 20 min is nothing to wait for a mega star who's life is consistently threatened. Security footage of Bey has been leaked before so they were not taking any chances of having their privacy violated. I never respond to these things but I just had to when I saw this-you obviously dont know much about the bible so let me educate you-Lucifer was a angel, a fallen angel and angels are incapable of reproducing so it would not be likely that he had a daughter. Also, "daughter" in Latin is Filia, and "Lucifer" in Latin is Morning Star-use the google translator its a wonderful resource. What is so sad is that you would just believe whatever is put out without doing your own research on the subject.

"Sons of God" in the passages refers to "good" angels, and distinguishes them from Satan, the fallen angel. Since only fallen angels would be marrying humans, they wouldn't be referred to as "sons of God."

I can't speak to whether or not this passage refers to good vs. fallen angels as I did not study theology. You commented, "angels are incapable of reproducing", in a previous post and asked where in Genesis does it state otherwise. I provided you documentation as to where it states in the bible that angels did in fact reproduce with humans. I just have the NIV version, and my bible doesn't list if only fallen angels would marry humans or not. We probably BOTH could use some fact checking or further study of the bible. Good day.
