MORE DETAILS On The "Tamar & Vince" Spin-Off Show, Premieres Late 2012

More deets about Tamar Braxton and her hubby Vince's new spin-off show are out. WeTV just made the official announcement today. Check it inside...

The loudest dot comer on earth just got her wish--she's the center of attention of her very own show. It's tentatively called "Tamar & Vince" and will tentatively kick off fall 2012...after "Braxton Family Values" ends its season. Production begins this coming March and We has ordered eight, one-hour episodes.

This new show will follow Tamar in her ongoing pursuit of pop super stardom, with Vince helping and supporting her every step of the way. Vince is always there to be the voice of reason, of course, and brings Tamar back down to earth.

Viewers will get an inside look at their complicated yet devoted relationship, including how their upscale lifestyle must adjust as Vince recovers from a recent life-threatening health scare.

Kim Martin, President & GM of We, says this is a great move for the underserved African American female audience:

“Tamar & Vince is a great addition to WE tv’s schedule, especially as we expand into a third night of original programming catering to the under-served audience of African-American women that love Braxton Family Values. Tamar is a huge part of what’s made that show such a success; she is completely over the top and our viewers just love her!”

And Tamar, of course, is head over heels:

I don't think this show will be a hit. I mean really there are all ready way to many reality shows on tv. Tamar is not entertaining, she is loud annoying and acts like a immature kid. She lacks any type of class. She is beyond desperate for fame it's pathetic. This women is 35 trying to be a pop star she does not fit in with these other young stars, she can't compete. Give it up tamar, get a a new makeup artist and get a natural looking lace front and keep it moving.

I hope Vince lose a lot of weight because it ain't cute to look at all of that fat especially when he is always shown on camera to be asking about food, ordering food or eating food. I absolutely love BFV and I am very sorry to see Tamar with the spin-off show. I think Tamar is quite entertaining in combination with her other energetic, entertaining, beautiful sisters; Tamar by herself might be a bit too much. I am just not so sure about the Tamar and Vince show. I hope that Tamar will still be a part of BFV. Anyways, I would love to see both shows do really well.

Towanda and Trina should pursue resolving their marital issues as hard as they do their careers. Fall 2012? Will they still be interesting to watch by then? Are people really watching because they want to see a "beauty and the beast" reality show? I mean, really. Truth be told from watching the other ladies with their spouses, Tamar is the only one with a high paying job even though he is not easy on the eyes. I'm sure that was a factor in her deciding to be with him. He has all the connects in the music industry. Tamar just seems like a gold digger. If something happens to Vince she will be on to the next man in no time. I'm not buying into her marrying for love. She married for opportunity.

I don't think Tamar is a 'beauty': don't get me wrong. I like her & I'll definitely watch their show, but you can't deny how much make-up she wears. Also, I agree that she is a gold-digger. But Vince is no dummy & I'm sure he knows that too. Don't forget: one hand washes the other like the old folks say. I'm sure he likes having a cutesy wife just as much as she likes his money--AND her sister Toni introduced them in the first place, to make sure her sister got a hold of Vince's $. They both had their own reasons for marrying each other--and yet may actually really love each other on top of all of that.
