So Reggie Bush Wants That Old Thing Back, Sparks Up Text Relationship With Kim K.?

After recent rumors swirled Miami Dolphin Reggie Bush wanted to get back with his ex Kim Kardashian as soon as her divorce was announced, both camps (kinda) shot it down. Now reports say Reggie has been checking in on Kim via text and wants her back. Do we believe it? Nope. But we're simply the messenger...

Life+Style reports in their new issue this week that Reggie has been texting Kim and waiting on the sidelines for her to dump Kris Humphries. And since Reggie supposedly got his alleged wish, he's supposedly ready to move in on his old flame, who they say is his "first real love":

“Reggie reached out to Kim via text shortly after she announced she was filing for divorce to make sure she was okay,” a Kardashian family friend tells Life & Style. “They’ve stayed in touch ever since, texting and talking. Kim was Reggie’s first love. He knows she’s hurting right now, but when the time is right, he’ll swoop in and take care of her.”

In fact, an insider tells Life & Style that Kim and Reggie have been in contact regularly via text, phone and Skype. And as Kris Humphries refuses to sign divorce papers and slings claims of fraud at Kim, Reggie has been her understanding shoulder to cry on. “He’s concerned about her; he’s making sure she’s holding it together,” shares the friend. “Reggie always knew that it wasn’t going to work [between Kim and Kris], so he’s been waiting and watching.”

As for how true this is? We doubt it. But at the most Reggie could simply be checking on her because he's a nice person. And things could have gone no further than a couple lines of exchanges and folks could be blowing everything out of proportion--as usual when it comes to the K clan. And since this could be a new twist of possible reality showdom, I'm sure the K's have considered making this reunion happen even if it hasn't already.

Time will tell...

I am a black woman, and I will say Black women are the most close minded, we have a distorted view about relationship and marriage. So, it has nothing to do with physical, maybe for some black men it is but for most it's not. And some just like something different. There are too many black women who have no idea what it is to be a wife and mother. They don't know what to expect or do in a relationship most importantly they don't know their roles. We want to be this strong independent woman mentality that will not work in a relationship or marriage. Some of us don't know how to nurture. We think our curves should keep the man, good sex and some black men have done a terrible job making it seem like the only time they find a black woman attractive is if she got big booty then the same ones still go for opposite of the women they glorify in their videos. And black women think being oversexed is what will also find these men attractive. It's ridiculous. I read an article on madamnoire about what some black women were saying about caribbean and African men. Okay, so we might have our preference but even a lot of black men here in America go with non black women. So, is it ringing home that it's not the men anymore, it's more of our mentality. The truth about is, we complain too much and don't be mad when some black men go with women who accept them, is open to learn new things and knows her role. There are so many single beautiful, professional black women. I will not say it's solely because there are no good black men out there, it's also we miss the good ones because we need to change our mentality.
