"Occupy All Streets" T-Shirts Are Back On The Market...And Going Fast!

It turns out Jay-Z and Rocawear didn't pull those "Occupy All Streets" tees (according to them) from the Rocawear site afterall. In fact, the shirts are selling well and Rocawear has restocked them. Get the deets inside...

While folks thought those "Occupy All Streets" t-shirts were MIA on the Rocawear website because of backlash, it turns out the item had simply sold out!

Now the shirt has reappeared on the company's site and is reportedly shaping up to be a big seller.

And about that OWS "spokesperson" who called Jay-Z a "scrotum"....turns out the OWS folks don't claim him. A member of Occupy Wall Street tells us that "Grim" has no affiliation with them and an OWS merchandise site says they support Jay-Z.

So does that makes it ok for us to rock the shirts now? Or does the fact Jay and co. still aren't saying they will donate any of the proceeds to the cause still make this a problem?

First of all, from my

First of all, from my understanding the person who made the comment about Jay being a "scrotum" was a woman. Her name is Priscilla Grim. That right there causes me to pause, because if you guys didn't know that, then the entire accuracy of this post is called into question. I mean, according to you all, suddenly the shirts are back, Grim isn't part of OSW, and now other OSW activists support Jay-Z doing this? I'd need to see statements to believe that they would support Jay-Z selling these shirts even though RocaWear STILL hasn't stated whether or not even a percentage of the profit will go towards the cause. If I didn't know better I'd think the YBF had gotten a call from "higher ups" and were told to change the story, because this is a drastically different report than the one that was posted before. Not to mention there is no actual evidence to support the claims made in this post (ie. proof that Grim wasn't OSW, or that OSW is supporting the sale of the shirts), other than the fact that the shirts are back on sale. Almost feels like the YBF just got put on Jay-Z's payroll.

I'm having a hard time

I'm having a hard time believing ANYONE is buying these Occupy All Streets shirts. First of all, who still wears Roca Wear? I doubt the educated OWS protesters are shelling out $30 bucks for these fraudulent Ts. That would make them look like hypocrites who get easily caught up in labels, trends and celebs. Those shirts are clearly not for the protesters but for the misguided, ill-informed, ignorant BLACK youth who literally mimic and worship everything these rappers do and or say. I know for a fact Jay Z gives back to the community... And thats what I get from his statement on the shirt. yeah yeah ok with the Wallstreet yada yada, but also make it right with all streets. Wallstreet does not directly effect most African Americans, so to say occupy all streets, brings the cause closer to home. Besides this is nothing new.
