Following the successful formula used to turn Bethenny Frankel into a star, BRAVO plans to launch a new reality series next year based on "RHOA" star Kim Zolciak. Get the deets inside....

With its Atlanta-installment as one of the most popular of the "Housewives" franchise, it's only natural that execs would pluck one of the Georgia peaches from the tree and give her a spin-off. But....it's not who you think.

Although NeNe Leakes made a huge media splash last year as one of the stars of "Celebrity Apprentice" (and has always been a fave of all the shows), and she hasn't been shy about letting folks know she wants her own show, Bravo execs have chosen to give "Housewife" Kim Zolciak a shot a super-stardom with her own series.

A source close to the situation told the HuffPost...

“Kim’s new show is going to follow the very successful Bethenny formula. A new mom and her fiancé trying to make everything work. Juggling baby, boyfriend and career. But instead of all those trips to a therapist that Bethenny made, expect Kim to work out her problems at the nail salon with friends.”

A show about a mom of 3 who dated a married man for a decade and has a live-in football boyfriend who may or may not be her fiance'? Wonder how that's gonna work out.

Kim should not be determined and/or considered as a housewife when she’s not married. The Bravo network is sending the wrong message. Housewife is defined as a woman already married that stays at home and care for her family, while her spouse is at work… Shacking and sleeping around with other men that are married is not considered as a housewife…

I will definely watch... i think it was a great move by Bravo. Think about it she's "WHITE ASS SNOW BUT GHETTO AS HELL. Kim is not "LOUD and CONFRONTATIONAL" like NeNe. Plus, she is MAINSTREAM.. the rest, hell no. But here is the plus side... Now EVERYONE can see what WHITE, RICH, GHETTTTTOOOO, AND TRASHY look like. Damn she even make the "Good White Folk" look bad. i'll probably watch the first episode or two just to see if its interesting. i'm not sure if she'll be able to carry her own show, because she's no bethanny. i hope the plan isn't to follow her around as she pursue's a singing career, because i damn sure won't be tuning in to have my ears bleed for an hour.

It is racist. All the other women are women of color. Phaedra has way more going on, own businesses, new baby, marriage, etc. than Kim, but they are giving Kim her own show. Nene is a TV personality, has set up shop in LA trying to get her career off the ground, and they did not choose her. Even Cynthia, hell, she is newly married, is a model (was just spotted at fashion week), and Bravo did not choose her either. Kim: she is a kept woman, definitely without anything to talk about besides her man or her hair or her wine. She was chosen because she is white. #pointblankperiod

Wow, Nene have to feel extremely bad that Kim beat her to the punch! I know the execs at Bravo don't want to come under fire for the negative portrayal of black females. They know Nene will be shouting, fighting and screaming in every episode and they will get alot of negative email as a result. The Apprentice was Nene's opportunity to show that she do know how to behave in a professional environment but she literary blew it! Nene could always go on BBW where that behavior is normal. I would like to see Pheadra get her own show. Her and her husband are a trip!
