No Separation For Will & Jada, But Are They Suffering Marital Troubles?

Where there's smoke, there's fire. Yesterday, Will & Jada Pinkett Smith shot down rumors that they were filing for separation and that they were headed for a split. But more sources now say that even though the separation papers haven't been filed yet, there's indeed trouble in paradise.

Deets inside....

The paperwork may not be filed and there may not be anything official...yet. But folks close to the Smiths are saying the couple is indeed suffering through some problems. And their marriage is at risk. According to TMZ:

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are having significant problems in their marriage, but they have NOT made a decision to separate ... at least not yet -- this according to sources connected with the couple.

We also asked our sources about the somewhat curious statement from Will and Jada, that their marriage is "intact." Specifically, why didn't they go the more traditional PR route and say they're still in love and committed to each other? Our sources privately said, the language was carefully constructed.

The powerhouse duo will also be taking a vacay soon with the kids.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they were going through a bumpy place. It's not that shocking. ALL relationships--friends, family, lovers--go through those times. So hopefully they can just continue make it work.

By the way, the couple also shot down rumors yesterday that Marc Anthony (her "HawthoRNe" co-star) and Jada were involved in an intimate relationship of some sort.

I love Will and Jada and I hope they can work through their issues. But I did think that Marc seemed too into Jada on Hawthorne. I'm not saying that they messed around but he looked really in to her. I don't think it's the "gay's agenda" to turn everyone gay. It's society's fear of the gays which causes them to point the finger and label everyone as such. It's not "rhetoric" from gay people; it is stereotypes of gays and the stifling of expression which has placed us in these binding forms of masculinity and femininity that are very rigid. Perhaps mainstream society is "gay friendly," but when it comes to the black community, especially as it pertains to men, there is little acceptance. This is why terms like "down-low" have been coined.

Masculinity and femininity

Masculinity and femininity are not concrete entities; they are relative to whatever each unique culture believes. So saying live in a "world where men's roles are the same as women's" is irrelevant because it all depends on where you live. In some cultures, the man stays at home and the woman is the provider and he's still seen as masculine and she as feminine. There has also been lots of psychological research performed with a myriad of different candidates which shows that men and women are much more similar and "androgynous" in terms of thinking than they are "different," and these ideals that western civilization has conceptualized about masculine and feminine aspects is stringent and not many people can achieve this. When you reduce a person to just their sex, it's a disservice to the person as a whole. I agree to disagree, but I will never understand why people give a damn what goes on in someone else's bedroom. As long as you are not gay, what does it matter? There are images of violence and sex as well -- and they only affect the impressionable. As long as you have a solid understanding of the self, and a good upbringing, I doubt seeing a gay woman who has decided to dress herself as a man is going to make you say, I think I'll try some vagina today, right? #kanyeshrug.

I love comments like this from people like you. You respond to my as you describe them.."long paragraphs" and then you proceed to tell me what a waste of time they are? Really????? But YOU ARE sure responding to them. Don't worry sweetie you're not the only one. I don't write comments to get responses I write them to express an idea. And I conversely get a large number of responses be them negative or positive. You can't even type a single line that makes any sense LMAO You really can't make up these types of comments. I love when you reply back because you are so typical. How did that not make any sense. Typical Furious Styles to try a turn something around. LMAO. I always know how you will respond. I love YOUR comments because they actually make laugh. I can tell get into a lot of arguments and fights based on your comments. You fall in my trap everytime because I knew you would respond.

I believe something is going

I believe something is going on because I dont think it would have come out in the press if there wasn't. BUT honestly, it's nothing out the unusual. They have actually beat the celebrity odds of being married this long!
