DININ' DUO: Tika Sumpter & La La Anthony Have A Nobu Night Out

It was a Nobu night for new friends La La Anthony & Tika Sumpter. The vee-jay turned reality chick turned actress and the "it" tv actress of the moment grabbed dinner at the luxe Sushi spot in L.A. only days after their NYC photoshoot together for VIBE mag.

Last night, La La and Tika made their way in sexy dresses to Nobu for some chow:

Tika was pretty in pink and La tapped into her wild side with her cheetah print mini dress.

Looks like the two are becoming fast friends. Not surprised at all. Cute pics!

First - she is not ugly by

First - she is not ugly by any means hence she is a model and she's getting casted as a beauty girl in roles. So the Derek jab is a little harsh. Its sad to see that she does not live up to your level of perfection yet it works for TV entertainment and fashion editorials. Second - there's not a lot of black actresses that get the support that they need. Hence, they are being replaced by reality show females. If people want to call her the "it" girl, just support her. If we don't, no one else will. She's not taking money out of your pocket. If anything, black actresses provide opportunities for other aspiring black actresses.

Great comment; I couldn't agree more. Many of us are brain-washed against our own kind and its so sad. Its the equivalent of someone insulting you to your face--and you not even knowing it. Why do we find so many people who look like us, who are plain ol' African-American and FABULOUS, so unattractive? The same comments were made about Usher's ex-Jeez I was just RELIEVED that he married a black woman!! Take note ppl: people who are mixed, Latina, Brazilian or Light-Skinned are not the only attractive people in this world. One thing for sure-- Tika has GORGEOUS skin.
