I dont think this really reflects anything, because i know alot of people who dont buy music but have it in their ipod. I personally only like 5 songs on the album but they are going to make lots of money off of this venture

Those two fools gone and disgrace Otis Redding's classic Try a little tenderness with their hood rap song about money, women and material stuff. They didn't want to include a woman who has the same complexion and hair as them in their video and that's what they get. I'm very happy the album didn't do well. It will be out of the charts in a few weeks!

The numbers are pretty standard for these 2. Kanye's MBDTF came out at #1 with 496K, and Jay-Zs last Blueprint hit #1 with 476K. But it didn't touch Eminem's Recovery which sold 741Ks in the first week. *kanye shrug*

Jay z is the ish and kanye is a genius. Good music is back man. Album is fire!! Anyone who says it's not is a hater. Good beats, lyrical content, hooks, swag, flow, and delivery.

im not a HUGE fan of either i think they r both good i like Kanye a lil more even tho he has been getting soft the past few years... i dont think either one is the best in the game even Jay was just ok back in the day to me...but why are ppl saying only 436k?? usually when u have solo acts do a collabo or group album it doesn't do all that hot usually goes gold at best its almost went gold in one week thats good quit hating and trying to take credit from where its due

the numbers do seem low fore the two of them especially Kanye. Didn't he sell more than that the first week of his last album? I personally don't get the hype with this album though I do like both rappers.

Those numbers are really good considering the first week was pretty much a digital release and most people still buy albums from the store, the second week numbers will be pretty huge seeing how more people will have access to the store copies. If they would of released the album on Tuesday instead of Friday i bet they would of sold 700-800k copies. Album is incredible though and what ya'll have to remember is Kanye and Jay share the same fanbase, most of their potential sales or fans overlap each other.

We all know the same ppl winning over and over again. Fresh new talent is needed and always better than two of the so called best rappers in the game. Wayne use to be that breath of fresh air now he just say whatever on the track, and so does these two here...

i only LOVE 2 songs on the entire album. 'OTIS", and "MADE IN AMERICA". "lift off" is catchy and so is "no church in the wild" (but only because of frank ocean's chorus. I dont care for the other tracks on the album twitter @misskeesh

Decent numbers for this industry..and a decent album. Unfortunately I don't think the buzz for this album will continue throughout the year
