Lloyd is prepping to drop his upcoming album King of Hearts next Tuesday. And he just released his alter ego photoshoot done by Derek Blanks.

The "Cupid" singer recently got rid of his long hair dont care persona and went for a short wavy 'do. And he's the pics showcasing Lloyd and his two battling personalities:

Lloyd is now on Zone 4 Records-the label run by Polow da Don--and is labelmates with Keri Hilson, Timothy Bloom, & Ester Dean. You feelin' the pics?

LOVE FLW-My sis and her hubs are both architects and they pasoasnite about taking old run down places and restoring them back to life while infusing them with responsible modern features! (They sadly refuse to live in Boise since we don't have enough old buildings lol-or funding to do such things) after college in Chicago they are now settled in Richmond VA living in a wonderfully restored old meat slaughter house! lol Way to reuse aye?

Not a fan or hater.....I used to love his song "get it Shawty" but what Im curious to know is why is him cutting his hair a big deal? And Im curious to also know if it symbolizes something I.e ready for grown man status, transformation in himself as well as his music or maybe Im looking too much into it. "creative" Do you care to

"creative" Do you care to define what you personally find so creative about these images? Lloyd and "creative" are mutually exclusive terms. All I see is some suspect Narcissist who places WAY too much value in his "looks" and hairstyle. Maybe if he used his time coming up with a creative sound these silly photo shoots would not clog up the blogosphere. I for one get a little tired of seeing the Z-listers give themselves these vapid shoots to extend their 15 seconds. Lloyd needed a hair cut but it unfortunately did not solve his other problems of being a boring run of the mill r&b singer who consistently can't sell or build an audience.

I totally support new talent. I love Zoe Kravitz. She's amazing. I also love Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean and many others on the verge. I just don't care for people like Lloyd. He's been around a long time and still can't manage to make good music.
