Since Ne-Yo's baby girl Madilyn came two months early, he had to open the baby shower presents solo with his mom the Sunday after Madilyn arrived. Pics from the baby shower, plus Monyetta getting her gifts at the hospital, when you read on...

Ne-Yo and Monyetta's baby shower was planned for this past Sunday in Atlanta. But thanks to the early arrival of their baby girl, Ne-Yo attended the shower with his mom and sister and friends and fam less than2 days after their baby was born. He opened the presents himself, but brought some of them to Monyetta's hospital where she opened them in the board room where they had her mini baby shower set up. More pics from the actual shower:

I am from the same hometown (Shreveport, Louisiana) as Monyetta, my little sister went to the same school as here and they were on dance line together. She's been to my parents home plenty of times and I know that she is a nice girl. Just because she has been involved some some high profile men doesn't mean that she is a whore. I bet many of you judgemental pee brains have dated all kinds of low lives and been in plenty of meaningless relationships. So freakin what? She's young and free to make her own choices. Thank you for putting that out there. It is a very uninformed comment to say that AIDS is due to sexual preference. I am a straight black woman and HIV Negative. However, AIDS does not discriminate against whom you have unprotected sex with. The reason why HIV/ AIDS is running rampant in our communities is due to ppl not wanting to wear protection and having sexual encounters with multiple partners. Just because your man/woman is straight does not mean he/she can't infect you with that deadly disease. All it takes is to sleep with one person unprotected who is infected and your chances of contracting it and infecting your "main" partner is very high. Get educated people and stop with the follywang ignorance.

I understand that the baby

I understand that the baby was early, but the baby shower should have been rescheduled for when Mom was out the hospital. You only have your first child once and I would have been so disappinted that I couldn't attend my own baby shower. Ne-Yo, I understand you're excited and all but you look really suspect! And....so what. You guys are always comparing someone's situation to your own. Neyo and his baby mama don't have to do things the way that you do them. Obviously she was ok with the shower continuing on. For all we know, maybe they had guests who were flying in from out of town. How selfish would it be to ask them to cancel their flights. The baby came early but the shower can go on. Good thing she has a man who attended and opened the gifts. Maybe your husband didn't parade around because you were there to do the parading. Furthermore, I am sure Neyo is in a special place right now. His daughter came early, is still in the hospital, but we don't know what kind of health issues she may be facing. Premature birth is not always pretty. Stop being so damned judgemental and let them do them.

Wow! I don't know Monyetta but I know who she is because we're from the same city. It's amazing how the media can make things look like something they're not. They keep referring to her as Neyo's "longtime girlfriend." I find that odd because first of all everyone knows she's known for sleeping with men of high status in order to advance her "career" which is now an actress. I'm not putting down when kids are born out of wedlock but I will say its better when you grow up with both parents IN THE HOUSE. Sometimes you get sick of dealing with your mother and her female ways so you turn to your father and vice versa. But when your father isn't in the home, you have to call him or get a ride to where he's at.
