IT'S OFFICIAL: Pass Willow Smith Jay-Z's Roc Chain!

After the youngest of Will Smith's clan, Willow Smith, debuted her brand new single "Whip My Hair" this week, the net went nuts. And now, with rumors floating that Jay-Z is behind her music break, it's been confirmed.

Check out what her mom and dad and Hov had to say about Willow signing to Roc Nation and Columbia Records when you read on...

Nine-year-old actress-turned-singer Willow hit up Ryan Seacrest's morning show this AM to confirm that Roc Nation/Columbia Records is indeed her new label home. And her brand new cute promo pic is above. Here's what her uber famous parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith had to say:

"After meeting with several record companies, it was clear that JAY-Z, Ty Ty, Jay Brown and the Roc Nation staff was the unquestionable choice. Their passion for Willow combined with their boundless vision and artistic integrity made Roc Nation the perfect home for our little girl."

I will not deny that Willow Smith is a cute, stylish and talented little girl....but let me empasize LITTLE GIRL. I listened to the song and it is catchy and cute but I just can't get past the fact that this kid is only 9 years-old, even though the content is not vulgar I still feel that the subject material and song production is too mature. Also, considering the fact that Will and Jada Smith have a business relationship with Jay-Z through Carol's Daughter the Broadway production "Fela", I am not that suprised that Willow is signed to his label.

I think its fantastic they

I think its fantastic they let her dress this way. When I first saw her style, I wasn't so supportive. But the more I thought about it...the more my viewpoint changed. She's being who she is. That's one of the most important lessons to learn in life...always feeling like you can be who you are, and not apologizing for it. Hopefully her parents will continue to be good role models for her and keep her in line!! And keeping her in line has much more (if not all) to do with her mental and spiritual state, than her outer appearance. Don't judge a book by its cover!

And actually...speaking of perverts and child molesters...I'm thinking they might be more likely to "try or think" something if she were dressed in a little pink dress.
