Wyclef Delivers A Message To His Haters (Check Your Mail Sean Penn & Pras)

Seems like Wyclef is still holding a grudge towards those who didn't support him while he was running for President of Haiti. At the very top of his "hater" list is actor Sean Penn and his former bandmate Pras. Check out what Wyclef has to say about them...

On Friday, Wyclef performed at Hot 97′s On Da Reggae Tip at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City along with Gyptian, Serani, Barrington Levy and more. During his performance of “If I Was President”, he took some quick jabs at Sean Penn and Fugee member, Pras.

"If I was pesident... I got a message for Sean Penn, maybe he ain't see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine. I got a message for Praswell; even though you don't want to support me, I got love for you, even though you only kicked 8 bars for the Fugees..."

That's why he shouldn't have been considered for President of Haiti. He needs to have class, etiquette, patience, and decorum. What if President Obama decided to respond to everyone in that tone who made a comment about him that he did not like?...That's not how you win elections. And I'm sure Haitian people are very grateful for any help they receive. He embarrassed himself and his country. Sean Penn is using his voice, money and volunteerism to help HIS COUNTRY. After all, I thought this was suppossed to be about Haiti not EGO.....hmm!!!

He was out there personally pulling people out of the water, giving them supplies and stuff. I'm pretty sure I have the right person. You are correct. He was one of the first rescuers in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. I remember him on his boat helping people out of the water and helping them get down off their roofs. And this was before the United States sent help and supplies. And he's spent months in Haiti helping as well. He has been a central figure in Haiti and yet he is not arrogant enough to think he can be President of Haiti. Wyclef may not have liked his comments, but he was being truthful and fair. It wasn't about attacking him personally, but having an honest and transparent dialogue about what's best for Haitian people. I was never against Wyclef running for Presdent of Haiti, just not right now. He has too many personal and professional issues. And he lacks experience. Could you imagine President Obama running for President with all of these character and ethical problems, he would have never made it to the White House.
