Jay-Z & Eminem Go "Home" To Detroit+Celebs Celebrate For Publicist BJ Coleman's Birthday

Well here's something to write home about. The rap game's head honchos Jay-Z and Eminem kicked off their "Home To Home" double city concerts last night in Detroit. And their celeb friends came along too.

We've got a few pics and video, plus pics from publicist BJ Coleman's b-day party when you read on...

The first of two Comerica Park shows by Eminem and Jay-Z (two more follow Sept. 13 and 14 at New York's Yankee Stadium), went down at Comerica Park last night. 50 Cent and some other celebs were in the stadium too:

And here's some vid of Jay bringing out Jeezy, and Detroit's own Em bringing out his homies 50 Cent and G-Unit:

Em also brought out Drake to perform "Forever".

Looks like it went down in the D.

And Russell Simmons' new boo model Heidy Allende (middle) also came out to kick it. Fun times.

Eminem is one of the coldest

Eminem is one of the coldest lyricists who ever spit it. I won't take a damn thing away from him. Even though, other than a few singles, I haven't been a huge fan of his music, that takes nothing away from his lyrical prowess. Now, his new CD, EVERY SINGLE so far is FIRE. Listen to the WORDS and stop always looking for something to shake your big ass to. He's definitely top 10 LYRICISTS of all time, period. And no, not all rappers are lyricists.

too funny...I have always thought the same thing. He is okay, but for some reason he sells a lot of albums, although to me all his songs sound the same to me. Lyrically he is pretty good, but still sounds the same on each album....but have been trying to figure out the same thing for years.
