Swizzy's ex Mashonda has a new column on VIBE called Pandora's Box.  In the first installment, she's chit chatting with Fabolous’ wifey (Fab's words, not mine) and son's mother Emily B.

Well this is an interesting dynamic.  The former wife of a rapper/producer, Mashonda, sat down with Emily B., the "wifey" of Fabolous to get a look at what really goes down in a relationship with a rapper, outside of the stereotypes and rumors.  Here's a snippet of what Emily dished about her relationship, despite what rumors are already out there:

I don’t recommend women to go seeking after a rapper. Make sure you like the person underneath the title. Rappers need love too, they are just men at the end of the day. When they are 60 they wont be rappers anymore. It bothers me when people say “Oh you date a rapper.” No, I date a very intelligent man that has a career and a future. I recommend any woman to find love. It doesn't matter what form. Just make sure he’s single and responsible.

After seeing each other off and on for 3 years, and spending our summers together, he finally asked me to move to NY to be with him. We built a friendship and we used it to develop our future. It took some time before we got physical; we talked a lot and had a lot of the same passions. I remember the first time he told me he loved me. I couldn’t believe that he said the words. It was a lot for him as well. I knew he was serious when he asked me to move in with him. He said “I have an extra room for your daughter, and bring your Yorkie too.”

Emily, who is the mother to her and Fab's 2-year-old son Johan, goes on to talk about actually meeting Fab back in 2002 and how he got her number.  She also became, and still is, one of his stylists.  Fab sounds like a sweetie (y'all know I've had a cruch on Mr. Jackson for a few years now).  But it is always interesting to hear the non-rapper mushy side of these fellas they cover up in their music.  Rumors have been going around that Fab is stepping out with Adrienne Bailon...but it seems like he's on lock at home.  *eyebrows raised*
