OH NO! Maia Campbell ARRESTED!
Just when we thought things were on the up and up for Maia Campbell. We've learned that she was recently arrested...AND she's still in lock up!
Details and arrest docs when you read on...
33-year-old Maia Campbell was arrested not once....but TWICE...during a month's time. Her most recent arrest was in Santa Monica on July 5th. And she's currently still in custody pending a $40,100 bail. She's allowed no visitors--despite the public being allowed to put money in her "jail account" via the web.
She's currently doing double duty at a rehab facility at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California. And she had her first court date today. Ironically, this facility is the same place Lindsay Lohan is currently serving her 90-day rehab sentence.
Maia was also arrested on June 19th on 77th St. in L.A., then released 2 days later. Here's the docs:
Maia's been dealing with bipolar disorder, as well as an addiction to crack cocaine. Hopefully this round of rehab works out for her. Sad situation...

She is one of those people
She is one of those people that actually has a condition. She uses other drugs to mask her problem because the hospital drugs probably have her feeling less human and controlled. She has a real problem and needs help more than jokes and laughs. This is sad because her health is going along with her mind. I think what is worth is when she does get it together, her career, friends, self esteem will all be gone. I wish her luck though. It is never too late to change esp. at her age.

You know, it looks bad but it is really a blessing in disguise. This will give GOD a chance to talk to her. She can be redeemed. My daughter went took me through hell. She wasn't a drug addict, but she was doing some other things which I won't elaborate on. But two friends of mine and myself walked the streets where she was seen and we prayed and that same week she got arrested did six months and now is gainfully employed, has her own place and is taking care of her child. GOD IS FAITHFUL. Prayers went up for her and GOD will answer them. So look at from HIS perspective. If that's what it takes to get her where HE wants her then so be it. : )

This poor girl is mentally ill and still in jail! What a travesty. Miss Lohan on the other hand has breezed in and out of jail and is in rehab already. My cousin is bi-polar. She made it through college but since then hasn't held a job in her field and gets by with the help of family. Thankfully she is on her meds and into God. The saddest thing is that such a beautiful educated woman will never realize her full potential.

Im thankful to see people
Im thankful to see people still care a love her unconditionally. Seriously, Mia has a illness thats bigger than her drug problem. Ive work with mentally ill people for years, and crazy as it may seem certain drugs keep the sane. But when they come back to the facility and doctors put them back on their pysch meds, you'll wish you would have stayed a extra hour at the gym, because they are a force to be reckened with. It seem unbelievable but cigarettes and certain kind of street drugs is what the gov need to look into, because it helps. Im sorry Mia has this battle in her brain, but the love a support people are showing her from rise to fall is a blessing she needs. HOLD Your Head People, Hold Your Head.
