Alicia Keys fired her manager last week and many rumors swirled around why. We've got the reason behind it plus what Alicia and Swizz will be wearing on their wedding day when you read on...

Last week, Alicia Keys split with her long time manager Jeff Robinson. Robinson managed A. Keys since the start of her career. Many rumors went around with everyone's explanation of why the duo chose to break up.

A new report says it was because of her fiance'- Swizz Beatz. An industry insider says, "Her fiancé Swizz Beatz definitely played a huge part in killing him off,"

Robinson had been charging Alicia a 25% commission fee. When A.Keys first debuted, he was charging 33%. This is highway robbery in commission fees. Standard management rates are 10-20%, even for the biggest celebrities. Robinson was charging Alicia double and even triple that rate. Though he denies it, her fiance' supposedly convinced her that her manager was charging too much.

The source says, "She got smart -- and got a smart boyfriend -- after years of people around her telling her she was crazy to let this continue to happen."

Swizz Beatz also told Life & Style Magazine that Alicia will be wearing a Vera Wang gown and Christian Louboutin heels. Swizz himself will also be wearing Louboutin shoes.

Why are people assuming Swizz

Why are people assuming Swizz had anything to do with her decision to manage her own career? She has been in the industry for years and i'm sure she has learned the in's and out's enough to handle her own affairs. Why pay someone else to handle your business? Its a smart business decision on her part. Theres no reason to believe that swizz is "running" her career. The people still sour over the Mashonda situation are just looking for anything negative to say. Get over it. I just hope she doesnt let him produce too much of her next album.
